I only started playing 4 days ago, but I've found dozens of ore deposits and never really had to excessively search for any of them.
Dig east/west until closest point of approach
Dig north/south until closest again
Note distance, move that distance in a cardinal direction and dig a 45 degree tunnel back up/down. Should be right on target.- Sarogahtyp and Friday

Restrict it to "within the client". Restrict it to "logged in and in-world" (I see no advantage, personally to having it stand alone from the DU world, but permit people to throw components together before they've acually built them. Please?

What exactly are you trying to say here? Are you complaining about crafting times, of all things?
That's typical for manufacturing simulations. Stuff takes time to craft IRL, too.

Thanks, I finally realized I was looking under the wrong category. Some of these crafting main categories could use more intuitive names.

Title. Once I set up my territory claim on the moon, is it possible to progress to building space ships without ever leaving my claimed territory?
I've only put a couple hours into the game so far, but the suit constructor doesn't seem to be able to build advanced stuff nor the refineries and constructors necessary for the advanced stuff.
Am I missing something obvious?
Long time Empyrion player here so I was sorta hoping DU was Empyrion turned up to 11.
