  1. Why waste development time on Linux when (according to Steam surveys) only 0.72% of people on Steam use Linux? It would make more sense to develop a version for OSX, but that's only 2.95% of user on Steam

Obviously, this doesn't take every game or situation into consideration but it does give you a good idea of what OS players are using to play games with.

    I would love having that.

Or something that just recently caught my interest:

Black Desert Online has something called 'Sticker UI' (since a few months). This means that you can take any (or most) UI, and bring it out of the Game.

So you basically can have your Inventory open on your second Monitor while the Game runs on your first Monitor. It really is handy.

This is what I would want it for, to be honest, having UI/stats/chat showing at all times. Not bothered about the game actually running on it, just de-clutter the playing screen

You'll want to make sure your laptop can support gaming on multiple monitors before you buy one of those, if all you're getting it for is to game with.

Of course, my laptop has both a mini DisplayPort and a Thunderbolt port, although one of them works through USB as well if I'm not mistaken so should work straight away....will have to look into it of course.

  4. I would expect something like this as a must, to be honest.

I'd also expect there to be market information/prices displayed on the community portals too, and even to go so far as being able to display organisations current stock of items stored in containers (privately and publically if needed) so organisations can figure out what they have on a "global" scale and then use the community portal like a private forum and discuss what they plan to do with it all.

Of course, not expecting it all on day one ;)

  5. The issue would be that everyone (or at least 90%) would be speaking English so you would be switching back and forth between 2 different languages constantly, and if you have input on the GUI and receive answers in different languages then what you can speak you will have to translate them back and forth too.

The Google translate idea is cool though, but never normally that accurate, especially with eastern languages unfortunately

  6. Well Unigine Engine 2 supports up to 8k resolution and VR, so there is every possibility that it will scale well on multi-monitor displays too.

I can't see NQ not including support for it, it's something that a lot of people will find a use for.

  7. I have an ASUS G750JM gaming laptop and the temps sometimes reach the 85/90C mark and it's designed to run at temps that high (i checked....I was worried!)

I see why you want to OC, but as Twerk and everyone else has said, it's fairly pointless....but let us know how it goes :)

  8. I hope to hell you are not serious. If you are then i better not see your name in my posts again, and i better not hear anything from you directed towards me or anyone i know again. Of course there is more than 2 genders, why do you think we have transgender people, and nonbinary people, and agender people, ect... Because i am personally a transgender girl myself and i can tell you for a fact that there are definitely more than 2. its a spectrum not just 1's and 0's, or this and that. There's a million possibilities, but like every other ignorant person I've come across in my time of being on this Earth, nothing is going to change your thoughts, so please see yourself off of this topic and don't reply.

I actually had a whole argument written out about what you said, but the fact that you just dismissed me straight away thinking I'm just another 'ignorant person' of the world shows how ignorant you are. You're no better than anyone else with your opinions.

I'm always open-minded and willing to accept new information, you just judge people too quickly.

  9. Corsair Gaming H2100 Wireless 7.1 Headset here, excellent quality sound and very durable...The kids love throwing them around!

You can grab them for around the £60 mark, think that's what i paid for them a year or so ago anyway.

They also work well with Android phones if you get a USB to Micro-USB adapter :)

  10. it was a simple question you did not have to read or post in the thread. in fact you post bounced the topic even more.

That's true I didn't have to post, but if people aren't told to do at least a little digging of their own then why should we post the same information over and over again, and flood the forums with the same topics and posts for lazy people?
