I would have left mining how it was in alpha and wrote a code two heal planets after a few hours or days  mining changes killed a good game  for me  I also believe it ruined  any reason two explore  I also think the high  land tax was a mistake a better system I believe is two either have two log in  within so many days two keep it from entering a decay state or maybe craft a fuel two use

    I also think Schematics were a mistake     Pretty much everything entered in late beta was a mistake. It was just a way to simplify the game without doing a lot of work and launching it. I have ruined their own product. You could see how many people have left during beta and never returned and here at lunch, it has shown even more they had such a good vision and plan and ruined it all. I’m still around waiting to see what happens, but I have little faith. Any moor I beleve it will go the way of land mark One day we will get a good Voxal game that will actually last also if you lose youer claims I don’t think you shuld lose youer stuff it should be packed up and put in a speshal place you can recline who wants two return two a game and re do the grind fore ore you alredy augers threw

I agree in many ways but  I think landmark was better in many ways and if it came back I would be their and drop DU  building is similar   But  landmark building was better but I think they shred the same problems with thinking for ever tunnels was a good idea and diid not write a code two heal planets ending in nerfing mining  but at least landmark wanted you two get material and build and DU wants two make ore two build with hard two get  two make pvp a risk maybe one day they will find a way two please both builders and pvp but for now we all suffer why not only reduce flight speed when entering pvp battle why not just add big astroid belts if you don’t want planet  mining why not make planets regenerate from digging in a unclaimed area I think removing mining was a big mistake it encourages planet exploring why would I even go their now  but if that’s  no then why not have  big Asteroid belts that Circle planets with different ore types you then can use scanners two find mega asteroid  this whole idea of scanning constant two even find a asteroid is not fun

I will say I don’t see a reason two not let people start on Sanctuary or move their now that the backers have claimed their spots  I also think it’s dumb I can’t give up my haven spot that I don’t use  because I moved two Sanctuary why did they even force me two get a haven spot  that I never wanted

    I will have two agree with this I definitely play different then I did in alpha In alpha I would mine sell and buy what I need in release I just mine auto t1 and build what I can if anything the way the game went and how expensive t2 is compared two t1 it’s not even worth selling two but t2 if anything the changes pushed me two just use what I have and do less at the market  may be this will change but for now I will just manage with t1  

    I will also say so far I spend less time in game and just get on two set things up and log out tell I have the ore I need two do the next thing (Alpha was a better game in my opinion)

    On the whole, I think this was a good move and will make T2 a bit more affordable for those who couldn't get a tile. And may even make some T2 tiles available again since once a bunch of people will decide it no longer makes sense to keep their T2 tiles operational.

     

    I think the cost of T2 will increase again and a new balance will be found but I suspect the markets are going to take a bit of time to balance since many players will have paid a week or two of communism on their T2 tiles.

    I think T2 should be cut by half  it’s bin way two high for a while now  100 two 200 is two high about 50 is reasonable I believe

I just wish they would relies everything they have done from .23 on has ruined the game  and the fun they should just roll it all back and admit they messed the game up and bring back players and keep some new ones game was much moor fun in alpha  now All we do is micromanage and make things harder on new players  if I just bought this and was struggling so hard just  two make a simple ship two go mine or pvp I would quite fast two  I wonder how many bought this on steam played 2 days and asked for their money back  I’m only playing because I have DAC and keep hoping I hear some good news of a update that brings fun instead of nerfing it moor I should know better though if beta shows anything was no good new features came just took things away  or restricted moor

I’m starting two think they want the game two fail ever update has taken the fun away and just made it more of a grind in a building game that forces you two try so hard just two get a few things two try and build but it’s limitless right dream it and build it good luck getting what you need lol  alpha was so good and was what I was exited for  it’s never a good sigh when you're co leaves all down hill from their on I believe they only launched the game two meet their obligations and the game will get shut down in a year tell then they will collect what money they can not the first time I have Sean this it’s fallowing the same play book as landmark  it’s scary Familiar I hope I’m wrong but I believe that’s what they are doing  ( why can no new voxel game Actually make it maybe they try two hard two attract 2 different play style and make it fun for no one ) 

  9. Ore definitely needs a rebalance it’s way two big of a gap between tier 1 and 2 

    why is tier two so hard two get  even in the market tier one is going for about 13 quanta then you look at tier 2 it’s like 100 two 140 quanta that’s crazy it was never like this before something is definitely not working  right in my eyes that’s a huge jump 

  10. Yes the wing and  engine stacking is kind of lame I have a small ship with an L container it has two run 28 wings. Would be nice two have wings that have moor lift  thier definitely shuld bee a better way air brakes. Two we shouldn’t have two have so many. Just two get the job done when their could be stronger ones  it can be hard two get a look you are going for when you have two put so many elements what plaines in the real  world need 28 wings

  12. Are you serious another wipe when a game is suppose two be in a release state how many games do you no have wiped after a release

    this is getting Ridiculous o boy I get two keep blueprint but have two grind for months again two get it all back you know not all of us play in a big organization I haven’t even got my ship back getting close and we are talking about another wipe maybe the game was not Riley ready for a release  maybe it time two stop trying  two build back up

This is just my opinion you do not need two agreeI feal like the game has not changed for the better it feels like the new start is nothing but login Micromanage stuff and log out  come back in a day or so and repeat I know not everyone likes the old mining, but it was so much more fun than what we have now at least make it more accessible for new players to go out an astroid mine and increase the amount of astroids. There’s no need to explore other planets I need to just roll everything back in my opinion. I know there’s a argument that there was too much material on the market at the core of this game is a building game why restrict us from building it also allows for people to want to go out in the world and do PVP why would I want to go out and lose a ship that takes me months to get? I remember back in alpha the feeling I got seeing all the things I could do an explorer underground. I thought it was amazing now I just click on my mining unit calibrated log out and come in tomorrow pick up my material craft a few things logout not fun I still haven’t been able to build my holler or get to space to mine astroids. I don’t have millions to pay for a scanner.  Of course, this is just my opinion I know not everyone agrees, but that’s OK. I still like the universe even for what it’s become. I just don’t know how you are going two hook a new player two love a game that everything Is a chore And micromanage until you get some thing Do you want people to feel like this is amazing. What’s coming next? You need two get them from the beginning before they loose interest and just find a different game and DU population starts two drop after the hippie is over  tell me youer opinion of how two fix this game or being the fun factor back for everyone

    I don't know which monkey thought that this is a good idea. I understand that leaving constructs on alioth forever can cause stability issues and lag and they need to be recycled somehow, also the planet will be filled with inactive tiles from inactive players that could be reused by new players. All that is understandable BUT a player should be able to keep their stuff if they want to take a break from the game.

     

    As this system stands now whats gonna happen is players will eventually stop playing for a while, because thats what people do they don't play games forever, they quit they come back, they have lives and work. They are going to figure out they lost of their constructs and effort and what are they gonna do then? You guessed it right, leave the game and never look back. Dual universe is a big time investment. It is not a game like rust where you play for a week build stuff and then hop on a new server. This effort cannot just be deleted like this because of optimization issues. If i know that all of my effort is going to be deleted eventually then i should just quit outright, is the though proccess most people are gonna have when they figure this out. Have you seen another online game of the mmo genre do this? This seems like an intentional extortion of a sort .. "buy game time or you lose your constructs". I know that this is most likely not intented (really hope not).

     

    Since i don't like talking out of my a@@ and i like providing suggestions rather that randomly criticizing someone, i am going to propose all of the solutions i can think of for this issue with prio from top to bottom in which i think would be the best.

    Possible solutions:

     

    1. Make game simply not load costructs of accounts with inactive game time. The tile will be taken but people will not load or see anything on it until the player buys game time again. 

    2. Create an istance somewhere in the persistent universe where a player can go and store everything they own when they quit. Only visible to said player and anyone they have given rights to and not loadable by the rest, so its just data and doesnt impact the game stability. 

    3. Reduce number of HQ tiles to one per player but make this one tile be untoutched forever. Or give a main HQ or something for this reason. 

    4. Create a new dump planet/moon where players dump their stuff when they quit. 

    5. This one is the worst idea but is acceptable. Increase inactive time from 3 months to 2 years and not less. And no 6 months is not enough. People quit for 6 months and come back. 

     

    My conclusion is that this change cannot wait. People are going to quit over this and never come back. if u wait for 3 months before implementing this and ppl lose their constructs they are gone. After one year at most the game will be dead. I was one of the first people to warn you about patch 0.23 back in the beta and guess what exactly what i said happened. This time around there won't be a "release" to save your asses if you botch this again. Consider yourselves warned. 

     

    I agree with you should not lose everything their should be a overflow  Inventory or something where all the things you crafted  and material goes that you can claim when you come back two the game

My thoughts are it’s a building gamy why make it so hard two get material expeshaly low tier it would also  help people be more wiling two go in two pvp and lose their ship  not every thing needs two be a grind  you want a new player two be able two get in build stuff easier get two space and explore not get bored trying two build a good ship and leave
