Performance issues

My specs exceed the minimum and almost meets the recomended.

 

i5-6600K @ 4.5Ghz

16Gb of 2666 RAM

GTX 970

Samsung m.2 NVME SSD

Drivers are up to date

 

From looking at component usage in Afterburner, the GPU is the bottlneck but I'm getting maybe 5-10fps is this normal?  Is it just because the game hasn't been optomised and has limited graphics settings while in beta?

 

My card is due an upgrade anyway but i wanted to check i wasn't missing something.

More ram will help.

I found that if you are not running this game from an SSD it is unplayable.

SSD is not the problem.

And when the game is loaded, only 8GB RAM are used.

I'm running it on a first generation NVME m.2 2.2Gbs read and the game is only using 8GB of RAM.
