Spacefood,

My idea is to crafting space food instead of hunting animals (hunting animals is suitable only to close planetary ecosystem).

But when you make interstellar flights you will not take pigs, cows, deers with you.

So lets think about SPACEFOOD:

SPACEFOOD WIKI:

SOYLENT FOOD:

MEAL REPLACEMENT:

Food can be crafted from example:

minerals + worms + fruits -> food processor machine = spacefood

food processor = cpu (mined sand+computer processing) + glass (mined sand+fire) + plastics (oil+plastics processing)

Normal food = lower price, higher weight (KG), not good for space travel (you will eat it very soon)

Space food = higher price, low weight (KG/10), ideal for space travel (you will eat it for weeks)

Yes, that's what devs are missing. Spacefood!

Even though I'm an engineer, that formula is too advanced for my simple mind :D

Let's discuss this problem further. If you eat spacefood you need space toilet. Don't worry, here is wikipedia link:

Creating space toilets won't be easy, but I think I got the formula:
metal + trees + space -> digested spacefood processor machine = space toilet

Shh... let him eat Uranium-238 cereals. Social Darwinism at its finest.
