  1. Being able to see which tiles are claimed by your friends/organizations on the world would be really helpful navigating. I suggest: Grey - Uncliamed Blue - Your tiles Purple - Community tiles Green - Tiles where you have rights Red - Conflicted/enemy tiles (later on when pvp and territory control is in the game)
  2. Dont know if it has been suggested but i havent seen it brought up so..... An in game clock would be a wonderful thing - Easy to loose track of time in a game like this - building, mining, etc. nothing fancy just like in a lot of other games/mmos - a UI Element - that can usually be set to local or server time - etc.
  3. Not quite sure if it's implemented or planning to be implemented. After a very lengthy conversation with 1 or 2 discord moderators on "duscussion", I was suggested to come here and make my case. I hope the developers read and see this naturally, as it is intended for them. I understand you have a big game to make, a lot of issues and players to address but please hear me out. From what I hear and see, I'm already beginning to love the idea of your game. All the little things matter, and can make all the difference in the world, especially when it comes to a game. Now, judging
  4. Simple question: Will I be able to change my on-screen displays for scanners, speed, etc, to the imperial system? My guess would be yes, but I wasn't sure if it was confirmed anywhere. In this latest Dev-Diary (Awesome), All measurements seem to be in Metric. https://youtu.be/5yG5DtZcdd8
  5. I spent some time as a UI developer and intend to in the near future, and one aspect of this video had me slightly wary: My concern is with the responsiveness of UI elements. It's been proven by studies (and anyone that has used any bad UI for an extensive amount of time will tell you) that added delays of over 100ms between interaction and response leads to user-input frustration. As displayed at 0:07 pressing b opens a menu, however it does so slowly, sacrificing usability for an entirely aesthetic animation. At the very first time you use something slow but pretty you'll
  6. A little survey to open several issues about builders user experience
  7. Hi! From what I've seen in the promotional material, ships seem to have a pretty ready made HUD. Can builders add UI components to ships? So that if you add a specific cube manufactured by a specific company, then you will get some random information and possibly some new options to your ship HUD? They did advertise automatic defense systems in their Kickstarter video. Can I build a control panel with which I could select a target for the defense system? Cheers! - Finnboy11
