Sometimes its not so nice to finally be right. I am telling this for a long time already, but most people didnt care or ranted. Even the texts on the website have been altered to fit the current game, building your dream stuff, and think big as there are no limits to imagination...all gone. And some nice restrictions came inplace.  Still waiting on that 2 and 4 km core we were getting. There is only one thing to do online, mining. DU started out very promising but at the present rate of adding restrictions even faster then new blocks or solving bugs it is starting to look like keen where every new patch is a new set of bugs, dc and once in a quarter a dlc with nice colors.

What happened to freedom to build whatever you can think of, and do not start with "thats possible just need a large org" Then tell me what large, 1000 plater org builds 100 dreams simultanious, or is it some players who rule the org and the rest, well they can always mine

I talked with many of the original core members of the Opean Federation almost immediately after the twitch stream from NQ yesterday, Monday December 7th. I wanted to raise many of my concerns revolving around what is going to happen in the game and the community and how it's killing the creativity that was originally offered to the community almost forcing players to come together in a senseless fashion. The new update is going to make small, medium and somewhat sizeable factories obsolete killing any kind of start up for small organizations that even range in the 100s making people incapable of getting off planet without participating in the in game economy and even larger organizations will have trouble surviving this update especially DSI who has recently lost a mega factory and suffered substantial losses on the battlefield putting them in a unrecoverable setback after this update. Taking away the creativity and inspiration that originally brought the community together in the first place is going to kill whatever community is still left playing considering the average activity rate on the server is 200 players. I originally came to the game because I loved the balance between the in game market place and the creative aspect of it.

This update hinders so many possibilities small organizations are achieving and a timely basis and goal to goal trend and going to nerf the idea of small organizations or clans making a difference or becoming sizeable in game without having a massive player-base compared to organizations like the Empire which currently has 1.7K members in their community which compared to the game and what it is turning into solidifying their power (be aware I'm using the empire has an example) but small organizations competing with the giants is no longer a possibility but irrefutable and obsolete.

The idea that I and my friends could log into this game and work on an ever expanding factory and going into space to form the empire we originally wanted too is now not a possibility that this update is forcing players to become Consumers instead of Creators like originally intended. The only organizations that will welcome and benefit off this update are the largest of organizations or the most well setup corporations that have little to lose except against espionage considering corporations at this point will become an essential piece of the game and will force players to rely on them monopolizing creativity in its process killing the game's freedom and expansion it offers severely limiting it.

    Reign
    Empire

    Reign:
An Empire in pursuit of power, and more importantly, fun within Dual Universe. We will settle the stars, and provide safety to our citizens. More than that, we're a group of friends hanging out and playing a game, building a world, together.

    How we operate:
This is an empire, but the citizens still have a say in most major decisions. Unless by universal vote of the High Council, major decisions (laws, declaration of war, policy changes, etc) are announced to the Empire, but not put into effect for at least a week. During that week, all members of the Empire are welcome to contact the Emperor or a member of the High Council and speak their opinions.

There are no minimum activity requirements to join the Empire, even as military personnel (though we do ask that you show up to anything to promise to be at). However, officers and personnel with more duties will be expected to be fairly active. Non-military personnel are free to do as they wish, as long as they follow Imperial Law (the Law will be rather detailed, but citizens are not expected to know every facet of it).

Above the law, is the Imperial Code of Honor. This code defines how we can operate, what actions the government can take, as well as some of the more obvious rules for citizens. The Code will never be broken by the Empire, and there are severe punishments for citizens who break it.

    Goals:
Reign pursues Power. Power can take many forms: wealth, might, respect, authority. Reign aims to achieve all, through its Citizens. We want our citizens to grow, develop, expand. Become the greatest in their specialization, be they a gunner, merchant, industrialist, officer, or politician.

To attain this power, we have a few more concrete goals at the launch of the game:
First, our Citizens will consolidate together, and create a temporary home on Alioth. This will only remain our home until we can bring the Empire to space. From here, we will search and find our true home, and settle.

Our next goal will be the creation of the capital city, as well as the industry and infrastructure needed to build our navy. Much of the city will be left to the personal tastes of the Citizens building it, but the capital building itself is in design right now.

The true sign of our power will come as we construct our Mothership. As soon as our infrastructure is established, we will begin constructing our navy. At the forefront of our fleet will be a grand Mothership. Reign began with the idea of building a truly massive, powerful ship, and that dream has not gone.

    Recruitment:
Reign is always welcoming new members. Whatever you aspire to be, we want you.

A grand admiral, fleets of massive capital ships following your orders, entire wars swayed by your decisions.
A captain, your ship and crew renowned for prowess on the battlefield.
A miner, trader, industrialist, designing and crafting the greatest quality goods, great wealth in sight.
A marine, pilot, gunner, wielding the great weapons of the empire against our foes.

The only requirement to join: you want to have fun.

    We welcome you, Citizen.

They are usless but i did include the buyer buys it because it is fun to just have. It doesnt have to have a need. Lets use your forum covor photo. Theres no need for it, its not any part of the game what so ever, but its fun to have to symbolise somthing or just to have to show off.
