Reading your story is a bit...hard. There is no real flow, sentences are short and suddenly change course.
I like lore/stories of all kind but reading stories which will (or won't) happen eventually in the future is just not what I enjoy. If that would be a war report of actual in-game stuff it would rock as hell. Without that it's just....meh....to me.

Lethys, yeah, I was racking my brains a bit on how to identify it, but I noticed that there appear to be a range of identifiers for BHs. I settled on 'CTSB-4' thinking it would be the fourth one discovered by Aphelia and personally catalogued by her. If there's a system that covers all BHs, I'd be inclined to go with that.

Just to clarify the naming:
It comes from the coordinate system - RA (right ascension) and DE (declination) define the position of an object in the sky as astronomical coordinates on the equatorial system of earth.
First number would be RA, second DE.

it was my conclusion too (lore wise) how they would explain floating mountains and such.
As astronomer I would've loved to see a 'real' BH tag as 'Q0906+6930' or 'Q0957+561' but that's ok

Depends on the rules though. All I'm saying is: It creates content and opens up new gameplay to many people but at the same time it can get very 'dangerous' if abused. We'll see if it even works out, way to go till beta where they can test those things

Well there are lots of possibilities there with this 'org': they can scam people with ease. Even if it's not the intention of the founders, some people could (and possibly will) use their knowledge of those gambles to dominate.
Opens up a lot of gameplay too: bribe people, manipulate outcomes, hire assassins

This is a sandbox. There are no big advantages if you start earlier than others or have more blueprints. The only REAL value here is time. You will have more/better skills but that doesn't imply that a newbro with 2 month gametime can't outmatch you in certain areas because he specializes.
Blueprints are only valuable in the first few months - when the spacerace starts everyone wants to be first to another planet.
Apart from the problems of those Blueprints (can't build them anymore because maybe blocks are missing) you can have them too you know - open beta ftw.
