Does anyone have a video of it happening?

I have not video. A few minutes ago I flew from Ion  to Symeon. After the warp, I saw THIS))) Station with a metal mesh. I had zero speed and flew cautiously for several kilometers. I have not seen more stations. Then he turned on the engine and began landing. One station is not a problem. If there are 100, it will start to create BIG problems.

While I can recommend after the jump to fly slowly for several kilometers and look around. You must have the means and the willingness to slow down quickly

You do realize this will result in legions of disposable suicide vessels composed of a grid of voxels with some engines using autopilot scripts to do perfect collisions with innocent space stations at 29,999km/h.

... to do perfect collisions with legions of disposable suicide space stations at 29,999km/h. )))) Easy loot, easy frag.

The asteroid is still there and radar shows a wide distance.   Work a little.

We need to think about asteroids now. In order not to add crutches (scramblers, interdictors, cloacking devices,invulnerables...)  like in EvE  )))

DU has physics. There is no physics in EvE. The CCP game has a set of abstract rules, just like DOTA. Eve is a different class of games. There are other projects that you can benefit from.  Why take out EvE's trash?

I don't want any kind of "hand of God/NQ" solution.

Randomize the exit points and we're all good.

    Situation:

"A pilot  flew to the asteroid and saw the miners there. He saw these miners 2 hours ago at the market in Alioth. He knows the vector of their warp and will be able to catch them with his friends."

Randomize spoil the hunt and the game...

If you warp and on arrival you have a period of, say 60 seconds, in which you are invulnerable, traps and stations would not be an issue. That is the point I tried to make.

This would not change the current way of using warp at all, just add the timer on arrival.

It's too easy. Much more interesting is the competition between victim and attacker. The outcome of a battle can be decided not only by weapons. Ship weight, skills, ship design. Large ships don't have to fly safely. And small ships should have a great chance to reach safe zone after warp.

Which is why I do not think having a central landing zone for warp is a good idea. It would pretty much be what NQ does best though, work around the symptom instead of fix the issue.

You talked about the "invulnerable timer" this is about the gate and about the game where there are many gates. The game has only one system in which you can launch a comet that contains 1kk of plutonium, which is only found in comets. This will be enough for people to start killing. Do not copy completely eve-online. )))

Creating an invulnerable timer when exiting from warp for say a minute would probably resolve this issue as well, it would make most traps pointless and allow you to navigate around a station which is in the way.

I would also kind of expect the game can determine your landing position and so know if there is any obstacles. From there an evasive vector could be inserted (automatically)

in EvE you can find another way around the Rancer, Tama, HED-GP...  The end-warp point must be chosen by the player. At one point there will be a permanent "gate-camp".

Both games are single shard sandbox MMOs. Ofc they are mechanically different. But there are very basic principles that makes this genre interesting. One of them is the risk/reward balance across alternative activities. Another is PvP possibility and emphasis. Both of these are inherent to my suggestions. So yes, in these regards DU should be like Eve. Else there is really no point in playing altogether in the same universe. We could just make constructs on our local computers, mine planets or fight with our constructs on LAN or in 60 people server instances like SC or Battlefield.

I am against some mechanics who spoil EvE-online. Many things in EvE leave no chance for the victim.

Yeah, good luck with that. Hype's members find a lot of bugs, some of them I hear are pretty egregious from the man himself but you won't be able to pry any knowledge from them about it.

Besides, if it is something that's harmful to game play like an exploit, then let the exploiters exploit while they can. You can tell them that they shouldn't do it and report it to NQ, but as NQ has already said, don't take to doing it yourself or you're just as much of a rule breaker as they are and subject to similar sanctions. Don't press 'B'.

While I'd like to hear of and understand these bugs myself as a fellow tester, humans being human will take any advantage they can get, including unintended game play. This is just one of the reasons why I advocate for a wipe on release and why I think a paid beta is such a bad idea.

You submit your side, let them submit theirs, do your job as testers, and all the players that will come after us will be better for it.

I see no problem for people to know about the bug. It is more dangerous for the game to use the error. And it is very important to know who is using the bugs and which organizations are incompetent in the game.

    Ladies and Gentlemen !

I understand all sides, but I want a little more justice in this not fair world.

But let's stop and wait for the Administration's decision?

A new day has begun and everyone has cooled down, I hope.

Nice idea. A software bug needs fixing. Some skill points can be given to people (XKentX) who find serious problems.

Hey there, although it's the weekend I'm interested in looking into this. Stay tuned!

Thank you for your hard work. I wrote in another thread about triangular windows. They are in the game, but there is no access to recipes)))

  12. NPCs are in great need. I'm building a ship now. I want to play semi-AFK  this weekend. My equipment is working and I'm waiting for when it will be possible to put a new part on the ship. If NPCs sometimes flew to the base and attacked it with small destruction, but I could use weapons and get loot, it would be VERY very  cool and not so boring.

This gameplay could help me master the mechanics of PvP and base defense. And help build my ships.
