    Its like you can set the thing to repair the ship so you dont have to do it yourself, its meant as convenient replacement so you dont have to spend time pressing LMB yourself.

    and with multiple units you can repair multiple ships at the same time, that is a good addition.

     

     

    Now imagine how it would affect PVP an L core ship with many many elements was repaired very quickly and was able to get back into the same fight it was damaged in,

     

    its the same reason that warp beacons take 24 hours to become active after placing etc

    its why aggs are so slow

     

    NQ always gives us benefits with a cost.

     

     

    This is not just an addition, it is a technical progress that should be. In your opinion, is it normal to repair with your hands in 15 minutes, and to repair with advanced technology in a day, albeit with amenities? Logically, it should be the other way around, or at least the same amount of time.
    There will be plenty of moments in the game when you repair everything with your own hands.

    Repairing a ship with a module in the PVP zone is nonsense, it's faster to fix it with your hands. No one will take extra weight with them into battle in the form of a repair module, spare parts, voxels, or drive a separate ship just for the sake of it and wait 15 minutes standing still in a combat zone. Or do you think that the wrecked ship will move to a safe place nearby by itself?

    Nothing prevents you from creating different rules for the safe zone and for the PVP zone. For example, a delay in repairs after an attack. But in the pve zone, why such time delays? Especially for dismantling the structure, when you just need to put everything in a container.

    When you build something, rebuild, move, working with snapshots helps to roll back changes or disassemble an unsuccessful option.

    There is no question about warp beacons. The day of waiting is fully justified.

  2. With all due respect to the developers and the huge work done in DU, it seems that you yourself did not play the game as a regular user, but only in developer mode, in which all tasks are instantly completed. 


    Why does the repair or dismantling of the structure through the maintenance unit take too much time? It would be enough to spend 15 minutes on the L core. It's not too fast and not too long, because if we want to disassemble or repair something, then we want to do it now, not in a day.

    Why is it not possible to disassemble several selected elements in a container at once?


    The choice of the default container for schematics should be moved to the building mode and to the advanced category (this is a wish).


    Please don't make the game boring. You are adding a tool to the game that is inconvenient to use. Is it really so difficult to foresee its effectiveness and relevance?

    A common container for schematics had to be made immediately, with the appearance of schematics in the game.

    Repair by scrap through the repair unit should also be in the game from the moment of the appearance of this very repair module and not replacing an element with an element.

    And even now, having made such an update, it's faster to do everything with your hands and not with this auxiliary tool.


    Maybe I'm being too picky, but I wonder what other players think about this.

  3. Why do we need 5 types of space fuel at all? It would make sense if the fuel had different weights. What is important for PVP. Or it differed in consumption per liters per hour. If the weight is the same and the consumption is the same, it is enough that the fuel is made from different components. Alternatively, you can add a distillation method from one to another to the production. 
    Today there are no advantages from different types of fuel in the game.

    1. Corporate wallet.
      For legates in the corporation, give the option of installing a default wallet. So that all operations, purchases in the market, and payment for missions come from the corporation's wallet and rewards are also placed in the default wallet of the corporation.
       
    2. Grouping elements
      I'm sure this has been written about many times, but still add to the game the ability to combine objects into groups for their movement, rotation, reflection in construction mode.
       
    3. Vertex editor
      While working with the vertex editor, make the adjacent voxels translucent. And the one with which the direct work takes place is tinted with a different color.
       
    4. In the building mode, in the selected area, it is possible to replace certain voxels with others, and not as it is now. It would be nice to have the possibility of such a replacement in the entire structure at once, and not just when deploying from a bluprint. This would facilitate the work of repainting the structure.
       
    5. Add the ability to hide the vertical grid of territories, but leave the boundaries of territories on the minimap.
       
    6. Calibration of miners.

      2 calibration buttons. The first one is like today, with all the animations and emissions of ore to the surface. The second is quick. I pressed and according to the talents it was calibrated by 50% and by 25% if calibration is through a surrogate. let it be a one-click calibration.

    i don't even know what you show on this pic, that someone has put buy order for 0 quantas? how is that scam? one must be dumb to insta sell something for 0, its your own fault for not paying attention to what you're doing. it has NOTHING to do with new players, it's common sense. every market (in real or game) works the same, people can insert whatever price they want.

     

    in fact i think it's good for filtering out dumb people, if they insta sell for 0 and then rage quit, good riddens! at least we get rid of them fast. i have NEVER fell for any of those "scams" in any game or in real, because i pay attention to what i'm doing. even when buying on ebay, i carefully inspect the item images and description and most of all, i check seller's feedback and rating. i'd never buy from anyone on ebay who has less than 95% rating and must have minimum of 50 sales.

    in-game you don't have to worry about rating and amount of sales, because you can't scam with a listing, if you look what you buy and sell, then you get exactly what you are selling or buying for the exact amount you agree to. you can't list one item and sell another in DU, so in a game its much simpler than in real life.

     

    no idea why people complain, only thing i don't like, is the market bots that auto-list stuff, that's something i hate in every game, because it makes it hard for normal players to make profits by trading. i've seen some serious market "flips". for example at some point all dispensers were bought off on all markets, i had few laying around and i sold them for 120k each just for the sake of it, when really they are worth no more than 50k. i see this with many items, someone buys out everything and then a day or two later lists them for a lot higher price, if it's done by a person, that's fine, but when it's done by a bot .. NOT ok, because humans can't compete with bots. a bot can make thousands of transactions in a minute, while human can make maybe like 1 normal transaction (assuming he/she checks to make sure everything checks out before buying/selling).

    Do you believe misleading is not fraud? let's assume this is so. But I personally have heard many times from other people that they accidentally fell for this trick. This is especially true for beginners.  I don't understand why the market is anonymous, let everyone sell goods from himself or his corporation. That would be fair. Whitelists and blacklists are also useful. 

    And in order to have fewer such errors, it is enough to enter a delay of 1 minute to cancel the operation.

    Not a bad idea. The core makes plasma extraction with the least effort. The ability to make is also interesting, but I would add the ability to find plasma or high-level items at points of interest that drop out randomly in dangerous space, this will add meaning to look for abandoned objects that few people need now.  For large corporations, this will not provide interest, but for small ones it will.

    Compared with what you have to do at the moment to get a plasma, no amount of the current PvE in the game could ever compare with it.  PvE is just mining and trucking stuff about, perhaps occasionally getting exploded because you can't run away fast enough.

     

    IMO endgame means competing against other players for something.  If you put endgame content behind something where the primary challenge is to endure repetitiveness (like eve PvE, for example) then it diminishes the value of it and isn't really endgame content at all any more.

    You don't have to think that everyone should play the way you want.  This game is not about PVP, no matter how much I would like it. PVP in DU is for a big fan, that's why not so many people participate in it.

    And even if someone is ready to give up everything, work, family, (I'm exaggerating, of course) and not sleep at night to fight for plasma, this is his personal business.  This does not mean that other players should do the same.  For you, plasma is the pinnacle of progress in the game.  For me, this is just one of the tools for a comfortable long-term gameplay, no matter what I do in the game, and there is a lot to do here. Resource extraction is only a small part.  And I don't need plasma. I need warp beacons. If you think that plasma is the only thing that makes a PVP game, I can assure you this is the most depressing incentive.

    Seriously though everyone is talking like there is no possible way to get plasma because one group is hoarding it.  I can think of at least two ways -- join one of the groups fighting over it or form a new group and try to take some plasma.  Yes, that's hard, but this is supposed to be endgame content and it's supposed to be hard.  Some people in here seem to just want some other way of doing it so they can just sit in the safezone and do a thing that will lead to them getting the endgame rewards without playing the endgame.  If you want the reward without playing the game just be patient and wait until you can buy it off the market.  It's bound to happen eventually.

     

    And yes, it's boring as ... to sit on the honeypot.  Come and shoot at it!

    Most people play in different time zones, speak different languages. Everyone has a different amount of free time to play. Join some kind of coalition? that's if you're accepted.  Even if they accept or there are 50 or more players, how much plasma will you be able to get until you are thrown off and who will share the loot? So in words, everything is simple, but in fact, if you don't have a group of people commensurate in number with the ability to protect what you get when you need it, all this will not give anything and will not close the needs. I understand that there are players here who are only for the sake of PVP, but there are also a huge part of people who are mostly PVE, and PVP is only occasionally for the sake of variety.

    Then this post is not for you.  If you don't need a warp beacon, it doesn't mean that other players don't need it.  I make a lot of flights, there are bases on all planets and orbits, I calibrate miners, take and complete missions that are transported by other players. And every time I have to return to my base 2.5 - 3 sous.  It seems not far, but it's 10 - 15 minutes of time. And there can be 5-6 such flights in an evening. A warp beacon is a natural technology for a space game, and in DU, they made a super value out of a warp beacon. Even if there is no plasma in production, this technology is expensive in itself in terms of quantum, resources and production time.

    What do you think about the resources that are owned by the two largest corporations?
    Are there any plans to add a drop of justice for the rest of the community, which also needs rare resources? In particular, we are talking about plasma and the inability to build a warp beacon without this component. Or do you think that long flights add interest to the game?
    Add the possibility of obtaining rare resources in other ways, even if with great risk, or exclude this resource from the components of the construction of a warp beacon.

    In connection with the upcoming changes, I would like to be able to unfold a static or space structure from a drawing, and in addition to the boundaries of the object, see the entire mesh of the core in the drawing, the direction of the core at the time the drawing was saved and snapping this guide mesh to the mesh of another structure. What would be the possibility of precise positioning when assembling a structure consisting of several cores.  Then it will be possible not only to disassemble a large structure of several cores, but also to assemble it with precision jewelry.
