my first piece of advice is don't do it.
but if you proceed:
- aligning cores sucks
- once you have them docked a aligned, take the move tool off your hotbar while working on the ship
- make sure you calculate the additional mass of the extra cores
- you need to guess your center of mass, and adjustor locations are difficult as can't be placed on the other cores
- make it space only, my ship above has 6 - 8 L rockets for AGG insertion which actually works pretty well once you get the thrust just right

Thank you all for the quick reply and info. I haven't given up on the idea but hopefully a larger core like an XL core or a change will happen in the future to make this doable. Thanks again!

I have been wanting to make a large multi core ship that stays in space full time. Is this something that is currently possible, if so, what type of problems or restrictions are there currently.

Is there a guide out there that explains how to move industry? For example, if I want to pick up and move to another place with the static cores I have in place, How could I do this with ease. If this has been brought up before I apologize.

@WildChild85 Where did you get your numbers? From what I hear they are grossly inflated. It sounds more like a post by a victim then it does a concerned citizen. Also to call for a ban to a large clan in beta is purely an emotional decision on your part. If this was the actual release, I would agree with you but what happens in beta stays in beta in any game genre. I have participated in Alpha's and beta's for over four decades and if this is the worse you have seen to call for a ban then you really need to play more games in these stages. But, you are allowed to have an opinion just like everyone else.....Just seems like your starting with a victim mentality to get the mob rioting. Go mine or something.
How can I move a Static Construct (Factory) from one location to another?

I bought a factory Blueprint for a container factory awhile back. Since then I have moved tiles and would like to move my factory with me. Unfortunatly, the ability to create a blueprint needs to be unlock by the creator and I haven't seen them logged on for months. Is there a work around for this?
