Like some others have said maybe put the missions on a "test server" before it goes live to see if and how things will work.
They can't make the main server run well.. Let alone 2.

I know right, they go on about how amazed they are with the community's creations and don't mention it's only if you are really close.
-
You should be able to see the contents of the package, so if they screw up the collateral amount you can steal it.
A very lucrative form of emergent gameplay i enjoyed in EVE, until they virtually killed it by adding the estimated value to all inventory windows.

Woohoo, i can blueprint my ship again!

Current element draw distance is farcical.

Not sure how useful this will be but there are two options for sharing stuff.
1: if you set element rights on the core or another element, this one seems a bit limited. For example if you set the rights to board construct on the pilot seat element the person wont be able to fly as they dont have rights to use the fuel tank, etc.
2: if you right click on honeycomb > constuct > advanced > set construct rights this then sets the rights for everything in the construct at once, I get more luck with this way.
probably you already know this, but just in case
That did it, thanks man. Will edit the main post with what to do.

I solved part of the issue by sharing with friends but i think that's only going to work if your alt is the only 1.
-
Found it, looks good thanks for your hard work.
-
I added a policy for my ALT and vice versa, gave both every single preset right and saved.Neither of us can do anything to the others stuff, what am i missing?Instructions to make RDMS work
Make a tag with the same name as your intended policy.
Make your policy and assign that tag you made to it.
Right click honeycomb and go > Construct > Advanced > Set construct rights and add the tag you made.
Just making the policy is not enough.

At least you can log in, my loading bar is stuck at 100% again, ive only waited 3 days so far, bit still..

I would say a major benefit would be that it disappears every time you turn your computer off, and if you have the RAM to run it, why not.
-
Has anyone tried it?

I get a positive message but no blueprint in my inventory, i have tried removing all parts with LUA scripts, refreshing construct rights, releasing construct DRM protection and adding it again.
I am able to create blueprints of other ships without problems, is there a solution that doesn't involve me deleting everything and starting again, i've spent quite a bit of time on this ship.
-
Server status page says it is down and i am getting error:27 but i see nothing under announcements, is it the same for everyo09ne else and does anyone know what is going on?

Rather than a container on each unit a standalone container you can make with the nanocrafter that only holds schematics.
It would automatically be available to all industry units in the radius of the core.
Once all relevant schematics are in an industry unit everything is straight forward especially adding one at a time piecemeal but if you want to move base for any reason it becomes a misery.
-
They did it with guns, it would make little sense to do it with anything as else as the space provided by core sizes are not relevent or relative to element sizes.

Tell the game to render them first, not interested in all the crap people have left littered about, i am very interested in being able to land. What i am doing at the moment is landing on the ground and re-logging to get the engine to render the platform.

What the actual fuck. I played for 3 weeks before i found out about it, and only because it had eaten 48GB. It would be a big ask at this point for NQ to get it to behave sensibly but no one has the time to write the code to tell it to delete itself?

I'm a long time supporter.
I get a full day ban from the discord over that joke : https://discord.com/channels/184691218184273920/304455542162587649/787072941657161758
during the whole hour I was in the channel, numerous people were insulting and trolling each others and no moderation occurred.
I mean wth NQ ? you can't take a joke?
ss in case:
Supermarkets always need people to stand at the end of an empty checkout with an arrow, although they will need training to point it in the right direction.

Three? No, we do a lot more than 3. Do you know what I do with our meganodes for the most part? Sit on em. Keeping em for a rainy day or giving our guild members a week long project to do. We were not making billions by any stretch of the imagination (I wish, I would buy up that stupid warp beacon schematic my bro needs).
Speaking as probably one of the top (if not the) prospector in the game i'll let you in on a lil secret. You know why I hoard meganodes? It aint money.......I'm lazy. I hate searching around the ground for ore. Like a lot. I just want to take one tunnel to a big deposit and grab what I need to keep my bro's factory running for a while and then leave the rest for next week. Thats it. And I got rediculously good at finding meganodes and so just started capping them around every planet, mostly because it beats mining. Even handed them out to guild members and helped them scan.
Now my nodes all lost a huge portion of their chunks. Oh well.
Didn't all the mega,s get a stealth nerf?

True - but by the same token, many would in fact hope the pirates just take the high value cargo and leave them with their not very valuable to the pirates but exceptionally valuable to the merchants lives....
This is why in EVE we would try to ransom ships once we had them in a bubble. We both knew that it was usually more profitable for me and you to just pay me off.
DU does not have tackling mechanics so such finesse isn't an option.
So yes - throwing shit overboard is fine - but there do need to be better mechanics.
I hope you still popped them if they paid the ransom.

Nothing special, just a way to move HUD elements to more desirable spots and turn them on and off individually without learning to program Lua.
The default locations in the cockpit are horrendous.
