NQ-Nyota
Noveans, We wanted to give everyone advanced notice that the IAR - Inactive Asset Requisition that we temporarily disabled a couple of weeks ago will return on September 4th, 2024. This means that the unclaim timers on your constructs will once again start counting down and your ships, etc., will be vulnerable to salvaging. This also means that salvagers, will be able to enjoy scanning Helios for vulnerable constructs! PLEASE NOTE: When the Inactive Asset Requisition (IAR) feature is turned back on, that it will be retroactive: Long time inactive constructs and constructs parked on Aphelia territory for more than 7 days may be abandoned immediately when the system is reenabled. So please make certain that you move your Aphelia parked constructs before September 4th, 2024 or they will be in danger to be unclaimed. Aslaan
Shame you aren't able to just have them start ticking down from where they left off... maybe by adding X amount of time to the countdown for any that had already passed their abandon date ? If any that would have otherwise gone abandoned between the server issues and Sept 4th are all going to suddenly be abandoned all at once there will be a sudden huge load for the server to process at once and it looks like me and a couple of friends are going to have to scramble to be in 3+ places at once to preserve some friendly stuff 🙀
Lasersmith
Thanks for that info. Well, that will be painful for some and a party for others. But with any luck the players hit will be mostly those not playing anymore and the players having the party those still playing. .-) Aslaan
ufenloh
So if people will resub before the 4th, their stuff is safe right?
Necormax
By now all the stuff is gone. I have seen the amount of trash this gave and it was insane. I hope everybody who is active had a ton of fun and also hope all the abandoned stuff was because of players leaving... Good it's back on, but this was a bit a dark moment. I saw hundreds of abandoned constructs....
Lasersmith
Yes. That was an impressive amount of ruins and wrecks and broken dreams 🙂
