3 month Subscription question

A question about the subscription. It is paid at a minimum of 3 months time. Can not purchase on a monthly bases. So if i pay that initial 3 months subscription and find out in the first month i will not be playing the game at all or maybe every other month what happens to the remaining game time? Reason I ask is much of the time I travel with work and may not be home for a month at a time. Is there a way to place your game time on a hold til you get back? Will you be doing a month to month subscription?

I would look at it like this..

 

IMO a cost of €1/hour for  game service like DU is absolutely fair, so I'd ask myself if I expect to get 21 hours of gameplay out of my 3 months sub. If the answer is yes than the cost is fair and should not be reason for discussion.
