Heyo!

Good to see I'm not the only newcomer to this expansive forum.

 

I started off with a SNES, gotta love that Mario Paint and Super Mario World (I still haven't beat that damn game...).  I only recently made the switch from Nintendo to Sony with my PS4 because of No Man's Sky.

 

That's not to say I've never played xbox or whatever though.

Satoru sounds like he's kinda doing what the starting premise is with DU.  As in, everyone starts off at square one has to re-learn everything from scratch.  

 

I wonder if anyone will try to kill Satoru or if bringing back Hisashi from the Aether is possible?

I suppose age doesn't really matter if you're dealing with the death of earth.

 

His backstory could be something similar to Ender?  A boy genius that was picked up to save the human race and so given time to build Oethe, Hisashi aged into his mid/late 20's when he was finally sent off world to search for a new home among the stars.

Nice use of the nanoformer and kadpak to really bring the lore into the game.

 

About how many people in total didn't make it to Alioth, roughly +750k people?  So did Oethe lose over 50% of it's people?

 

Talk about a rough start for Hisashi... I wouldn't evny his job either!

Eidolon reminds me a little bit of C-3PO's constant reminder of odds and cynical views of what's happening.

Heyo!

I'm pretty excited as well, I've been on and off about it for awhile but after watching some dev diaries and other videos on youtube...... lol I'm here now.

High five silver pledge buddy, I wanted to go gold but my paycheck wasn't really seeing my case.  Oh well.

[WHAT ONLINE GAME DID YOU COME FROM?]

Came over from NO MAN'S SKY on my PS4, but since DU won't be out for awhile I still have plenty of time to enjoy my aimless wonder among the stars.


I did play EVE awhile back and might actually get into it again with the whole "alpha clone" free gameplay thing they're gonna launch soon.  Was only a small timer miner and fighter in Solitude section of space.  Had a friend who introduced the game to me and now I'm hoping I can introduce this game to him as a personal thanks.
