This is just badly designed.  I have heard that people who play using DAC are unsubscribed briefly when one DAC expires and the next has not yet been applied.  Even if this gap is very short like 5 minutes the constructs loaned by that character to their org are withdrawn and need to be manually redone.  The same could happen with a credit card error or similar.

That is exactly what happened. on the 28th of February My Sub ran out, and I didn't renew it till the 31st.    The log on the Organization Constructs shows a -10 on the 28th of February, so it took it away when my sub ran out...   DAMN... I feel even more mad right now..  oh I'm going to take a month (more like a week now that I've cooled off some) check out some other games. but I'll be back.... mark my words...  maybe...

  2. Yea, i scrolled down and discovered the 1st warning.  But if you look at my tab I have some 3400 notifications and I use this toon for selling on the marketplace.  So that tab is flooded with sell, and calibration alerts.   So it’s totally my fault, but damn. I lost quite a lot of stuff 3 med ships and 2 lg static core builds and containers loaded with stuff to sell.. all for some stupid game mechanics that make no sense in the game..     but I loaded up my tiles with 5million each and going to take a month off.

  3. So, to all the players that may read this on the forum.   Be sure to go to you Organization tab (f3) .   Click your organization icon.  Then Click Constructs to see the "summary and Construct Check".  Because I just live in those screens.

BTW, this is all the notice you get.  just as it happens..  NOTHING ELSE..  NO COUNTDOWN, NO 24HR NOTICE...  JUST THIS..

I'm not mad at the organization that came in and stripped the ships and claimed the core.  just another example of a poor game mechanic and poor notification system of DU.      I was going to try and finish my build, but I just don't have to heart to finish it anymore.  So, I'm going to take a week off and play something else. and if I don't decide to come back, well I still have about 6 months left on my subscription on all of my accounts, so players will have to wait that long before they can strip it down.

Update, NQ won't help, they just said it's my fault and closed the ticket., which it is.  but with only 42 peak players per steam, no telling what the direct purchase is, they may want to work on fixing this...

Having had to crash out of the game after waiting 4 minutes to see if I can exit my seat once arriving at Market 6 to pick up some basic space engines. I am thinking the Anti-Cheat might be a little too paranoid because I am fairly sure I am not cheating just exiting my flight chair...

At least I hope it is the Anti-cheat and not something else causing it. :D

Same here, I get the same long pause at the marketplace 6 only when trying to get out of the flight chair.   All I can do is sit, sit, sit and I don't like it.  Not one little bit.    sometimes it is 1 min, sometimes it is as long as 3 min.  I normally give up and AltF4 it.

  5. Im still getting the Anti-Cheat Bug when i log out.  Yesterday I logged out, forgot to check something, quickly click the log in button.  It just sits there saying I'm in the connection que.  After a minute i alt tab out and notice an Anti-Cheat window with a red x  and have to close the programs and load them again.

  6. I'll drop my 2 cents in.  All these inactive tiles should not be allowed.    If they are tax delinquent for X amount of time, then you should be able to take them over by paying off the back taxes... There are 2 tiles right next to me that have a high lvl of T2 ore, over 100 in each, and they have been inactive almost since launch.  I've checked 2 different discords to see if they are a viable for sale, and even have attempted to DM the person in game.

The rumor is that connecting the Inverted containers to a Hub removes the benefits but retains all the negative aspects.  So you don't get the mass reduction, but you still get the increased weight and the decreased storage capacity.  I haven't tested it myself but that's what i've heard.

Assuming that's true.  You wouldn't want to connect the Inverted containers to a Hub, you would want to use them individually.

All of the benefits of the Optimized containers do work with a Hub, so if you switch to Optimized containers then you wouldn't need to ditch the Hub.

Thanks Atmosph3rik,  I guess im going to be making new containers!!..  Still I'm going to load them up and test them with out the hub.

Bonuses for the Gravity-Inverted containers should be calculated to the players advantage, like the  Optimized containers. The problem is that mass-reduction bonuses are compounding; making each bonus worth less and less. Compounding calculations are an advantage with increasing numbers (like volume) but not with decreasing numbers (like mass.)

    Uncommon Gravity-Inverted Large: mass * 9% * players 25% mass reduction = 31.7%

    Uncommon Optimized Large: volume * 30% * players 50% volume increase = 195%

Just adding the 9% and 25% reductions would get 34% of mass, vs the 31.7%. And of course it gets worse as the bonuses go up: a rare container should have 27% mass reduction plus a players 25% for 52% (at least.) This if the bonuses merely stack rather than compound to the players advantage. Current calculations yield only a 45% mass reduction.

I think the mass reduction should be 15% per tier. So 15% uncommon, 30% advanced, 45% rare and 60% exotic. Players aren't using Gravity-Inverted containers but I think we would with these changes.

Also, you cannot currently use hubs with the Gravity-Inverted containers, but I assume that's a bug. You should be able to connect the same tier of containers to a hub.

So, which containers are the best ones to be using?  I actually have 4 Uncommon Gravity-Inverted Large linked with a HUB on my ship.  I transport 300,000kl of Malachite back and forth from Thades.   Do I need to change them to the Optimized version and ditch the hub.??   Warping to Thades empty is like ~36, warping back full is ~80 WC.

As you can see in the below picture. at the red arrow you can see the edge is brighter. The ore is 100% beneath that spot. image.png.28aa370d23dfe6f4a4d07385fabbdb19.png

And even if its close to it you can still find it Look at the second picture. its fairly light by the edge I am not 100% sure its right there. but chances are thats where its at. image.thumb.png.4571ac961afbb1f2e727cca655291c5c.png

OMG, that is impressive you noticed that detail.   I'm going to have to clean my glasses off now.   Thank you for this tip.

  10. I'm more upset with the random Dmg that is suffered when landing a ship.

I have a Lg core ship that autopilot slow lands with gears down, no dmg.  Then one day doing the same landing.  I have a catastrophic blow out that destroys one whole side of the ship.   What gives.. 30+ elements gone.   No difference in landing.

All tiles outside of Haven/Sanct should do weekly rotations, not from a realism sense, but from a preventing monopoly style I have Parks Place you lose point.
From a technical perspective, it is simply regenerating the tile resource heat map every Tuesday during maintenance. Each week players could then scan to find better tiles, pick up where they were or stay put. Thus giving back a utility to routine scanning for players.

I have said that also, that a fixed amount of ore pool along with a random rotation of ore.  Say you have tile A.  This week it has X amount of  T2 and once mined out that's it then next week it may have less, then the following week it may be gone altogether.  The following week later it may have a different T2 ore.   That way everyone can get access to the ore needed.

  12. So as title says, how do you pick up a dispenser or is mine bugged.   I have a dispenser.  I'm in the build mode.  Deploy Element tool is selected.  I hold Alt (it glows yellow) and click and get the warning message  "Invalvid Container"   I am linked to a Basic Container Lg and it is my active linked container.  I have tried logging in and out.  restarting computer.  moving around.  Going in and out of build.  Different size containers on different dynamic and static cores.  any Ideas?
