    Actually a closed sphere would be the same as boundaries but you would be as teleported when you reach the boundary. I will find this pretty interesting for the gameplay. The problem if you make boundaries as you say is that the one that settles at the boundary first has a very advantage on others. The people at the boundary will have not to look at their back. A world where there is no center seems more balanced to me.

    It occured to me in someone else's thread (that I didn't want to hijack with this discussion) but man, a voxel SKATE PARK for hover bikes would be fantastic!

     

    Especially since you can't actually crash in this game (so far), it would be hilarious, and hopefully would be buggy as hell. it would make my life complete to do a sweet backflip on my space bike while griefers are trying to kill me and steal my bike.

    You see the 'bike' as a hover machine without cockpit then? Like the stuff in Star Wars?

    LOL im sorry but are you serious? Disney cares about people using their images and video without their permission. The artists who poured their hearts into making these pictures could care. You could actually be sued for using the art, if the artist doesnt want you using it.  Using your own art shows how creative you are. Look at all of the top orgs, most of them only use their own artwork. And Empire has benefited from working on, using their own work. 

     

    So MANY people care if the art work isnt yours. 

     

    OK I am wrong. Disney care I believe. I would say raw material with no remix is absolutely out of the law, but the 'fair use' is a blurred line in the law, particularly because it differs from state to state.

    Last point. Of course the self-created art is showing a creative side of your org, but it does not makes all. Remix can be easier to come up with and is yet better than nothing when it comes to imaging what you intend. So you declare the Empire only has self-created artwork, I really don't know about that please light me up thanks? EDIT: I re-read the beginning of the thread, Kytheum talked about having the art under 'fair use' too, rightly because his presentation looks like a creative re-use, to me.

     

    Thank you for your reply, all what's copyright is a smoky land to me. I wouldn't steal one's artwork.

    I'm not actually talking about the Empire but your org. I had the conception that 'Vanquish' would actually mean defeat someone. So you intend to defeat others by not attacking first, but don't mean to flee combat or avoid it in every case or remain indifferent. By 'violence' I meant defeating others, well I mean in every war, even not intended, is violent since you kill.

    I'm opened to discussion that all, don't go nervous. I will talk with Kytheum. The term 'vanquish' reminds me of the Roman Empire motto, that is 'come in purpose to vanquish'. It's just a word, I definitely know what the Aether represents.

     

    I don't get it why while I talk here personally you include the Empire for it. I don't represent the Empire. It's good you contacted the emperor though. Discussion around a mere Word does not intend mindless conflict.

    Lets talk about Gravity

    As far as mining is concerned it will be like this : if you carve the bottom of a mountain it will float.

     

    As far as player and constructs, gravity should be applied.

     

    For buildings I'm not too sure.

    Well yes it mill float but if you totally wipe a ground level it will fall upon you.

    Buildings too, but into space if you apply a static core unit your craft won't have the possibility to move, but I think they are subject to gravity too (field).

    I will not argue no more. Vanquish is a term of violence. It means domination, force, kicking butts. Maybe avenge would be more appropriate.
