Actually the Internet was technically invented in the 1960s, Chat rooms came about at the same time. They came into wide use over a decade before the Internet did.
Discord is just a chat room and those happened in the 1960s years before forums.
But either way around failing to post messages on their own forums is just plain bad.
Is that washing machine costing this tiny amount? To put in perspective I will definitely be dead of old age before this monthly subscription fee cost what my last washing machine cost.
Most people would be happy there washing got half done before it got thrown on the floor.
Or it could be a lot worse and be like Star Citizen where they send you an email saying that after more millions and time than any AAA title, they still have not finished and their roadmaps have roadmaps.
On another not I am finding the pending actions that last for hours and the inability to log in very draining in a beta. So while the game is so cheap its almost free, a persons time is not. I must admit I am falling into the "They went to beta to early" camp.
A failed game is one that is no longer profitable and so it fails. It can be made as long as it wants, so long as it is profitable. Look at Star Citizen, if the funding stopped so would the game, which is why they keep selling more and more ships.
I am having a merry old time building myself a base and crafting all the bits it needs, then working on some aircraft etc.. but when you have to wait so long for pending operations, everything just stops. Maybe they need to do hourly resets or something till they can fix the problem.
The pending operations are making mining take so long.
I have noticed that they get better after a server restart but at the moment it is taking so long between mining and so 10 meters is taking about 10 minutes.
I am personally here for the long haul but this will turn a lot of people off especially as it is such a basic function to the game.
