use google translate to read the website. This is an old version, but it work well (use any editor and type F5 to run).
Folks dont like this version much. it was intended to be used as an lua interpreter in eclipse LTD.
The website will be redone soon (in english this time).
The new version is actually in dev.. its a matter of months. New version is based on the old one but was rewritten to 70%. There more then 1500 hours of work
in the whole project in total.

J'ai terraformé ma tuile, mais j'ai quelques scorites (de petits éclats de terre) invisible que je n'arrive pas à enlever.
J'ai eu beau remplir la zone et la vider à novueau, ca n'a pas reglé le problême.
C'Est mortel, lorsqu'un vaisseau passe à cet emplacement, il se crash ou il est encombrant.
Ca vous est déjà arrivé? Il y a une solution?
Dans l'image, le scorite est juste en dessou. Je ne peux pas atterir à cet emplacement.

About my lua sandbox for dual universe!
i just released a first version. Still missings feats, but at least you can try and use it.

I there, i am actually working on a Dual universe LUA sandbox. I dont think you will find something else like it. But it i have to finish it. Some importants features are still missing.
Its a work on progress but very functional actually.
You use any editor you want (i use notebad++) and you only have to press RUN to reload. And you will be able to export it to json also.
All elements are fully functional
Timers work
Fully functionnal databases wich can be administrated using a small internal SQL database (H2).
Work real time.
System.Output window with some debuging functions
Screens are fully compatible with svg. And the result is very close to DU (still few glitchs ?)
You can fully setup internal databases (player/constructs) and customize your environment with a Preload file using LUA (easy to do, anyway there some samples).
It come with a bunch of tutorial scripts to learn some of the basic of dual universe (hello world, databanks, screens, emitters, buttons)
The mouse events are fully functionnal (You can click on the screen and get mouse positions)
Some majors functions are still missing (screen widgets and few elements), actually, the navigator return dummy values, but its a work on progress.
And... most of all... It will be open source!

I would like to know how the internal memory for LUA scripts works.
Will the data be persistent? Arrays are persistent?
What is the maximum size of the memory allocated to scripts and to arrays.
Is there a file system or a disk drive?
Do we have access to a database system?

Programmeur analyste de niveau senior, je souhaite me faire reconnaitre IN GAME en tant programmeur LUA.
Honnêtement, j'ai fait peu de LUA dans ma carrière, mais j'ai tout de même une vingtaine d'années d'expérience dans
des languages de programmation tel que C#, PHP, Java, PL SQL et plusieurs autres.
J'ai entre autre fait des addons (non publié) pour WOW et developpé des API pour wow armory en C#.
J'ai aussi fait plusieurs projets dans L'indie (android sdk, opengl).
J'ai comme projet de créer un API LUA OFFLINE pour dual universe. (j'ai actuellement fait plusieurs tests qui me semble concluant) et peut etre si ce n'est pas trop fou en temps/energie, un editeur LUA offline pour Dual universe.
J'ai plusieurs idées en tête et recherche une guilde francophone qui ont de l'ambition coté création. J'ai le bagage nécessaire pour devenir chef de section.

As a rl senior programmer, I want to be recognized IN GAME as a LUA coder.
Honestly, I have done little LUA in my career, but I still have about twenty years of experience in language like C#, PHP, Java, pl sql.

i am thinking about a project to create an LUA OFFLINE API for dual universe. (I have currently done several tests which seems to me conclusive). And maybe an offline LUA editor. (if not too crazy)
I have several ideas in mind and looking for a French guild who have ambition about building cities or trading.
