[What does it mean to "win" in a game like DU?]

If I could create measurements of winning I would do this:
 

Person with most amount of Quanta

Person with most amount of Kills

Person with most infrastructure

Person with most Territories owned

Most active players in an organization

Person with most reputation

Group with most amount of Quanta

Group with most amount of Kills

Group with most infrastructure

Group with most Territories owned

Person/Group with most artifacts found

 

I would even create more holistic measurement for players who just flat out want to help other members or create content for the community.

For now it means having the most amount of members to win.

 

DU needs to provide us with more measurements of success to compare and contrast with each other.  Alot of people don't like using the word "competition" and will say that people just need to enjoy the alpha as it is.  But to that I say competition helps test the server and pushes the game to it's limit.

Wow I am super excited to see an article come out from Massively OP earlier today!  It says volumes that out of the many public community pictures they decided to showcase one of New Genesis' ships.

 

NQ gives us the tools and freedom to express our ideas and we are ecstatic that our hard work paid off.  Super proud!  This is what can be done if you join up with an active organization, keep your members happy and overall strive to create amazing things in the DU verse.
