You should really look into the combat of the ships in the TV show "The Expanse". For long range engagements PDC´s (Point Defense Systems) and torpedos are the go to. Here is a good video explaining the combat.

Hello everyone! I am Amastary. I am a fascinated person. I discovered the game in August last year and have been fascinated ever scince. I joined SilverLight Industries and i am becoming an active member now that I finally could support the game (did not have the money before nor the motivation). But yesterday was THE day. I finally bought the game. I cannot wait to build myself a ship/hovercraft/home fortress. My biggest dream is to command a carrier ship. I really like the Idea of a carrier ship.
