  1. After seeing the latest Dual universe video I had an idea. Using the new coding function for screens. people who are travelling through trade stations could entertain themselves by watching live space battles broadcasted by private owned ships equipped with cameras filming the battle. You could have adverts for organisations/companies placed besides the screen to make profit from these screenings. Organisations could even organised massive space fights to prevent boredom leading to a war, and win resources or money from the losing organisations fleet. Furthermore, the people filming could sell the encrypted script to other players for money, so players could watch these battles when inside a home or office building. Alternatively, commanders could use this to view their fleet from a multitude of different perspectives allowing them to better coordinate their ships, but also meaning they dont just look at distant, far away objects during an epic space ship.

Thanks for reading and comment below your thoughts on broadcasting battles, or how else the new features could be used in game.

Edit: Thought this was general discussion, will try to change this mistake now. Sorry for the inconvenience

Dual Universe is the game. ;)

This is a random website that is poorly done.

And this topic is fun to watch while I am downloading something. ;)

I'm sad to hear you find the harassment of your previous members of TVR  and "Fun to watch". Perhaps this is why most people are glad you are no longer  head of TVR.

Hey MM, I know we have not been on the most friendliest of terms, and that is partly due to the mistakes we both made, and my decision to break all contact with you. I feel that I was far too negative towards your organisation, and I'm sorry for not properly giving you a second chance. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you will eventually come back, having learnt from what went wrong with TVR, and create a better and more friendly organisation. As a person, I feel you made mistakes, but that does not mean you should be banned or shunned.

If I can give you any advice, it would be to always be friendly and open to other organisations, regardless of your own personal feelings towards the people in the organisation. Hopefully, other people will like  me, forgive you for what happened, and wish for you to come back. TVR did show promise, and should you come back, I look forward to seeing you in game.

Pointing out something. I figure this should have gone without clue. I'm OutlandishRep and welcome to the fantastic barrel of misery and anger known as my posts.

There have been some things going around. Noticed anything? I'm sure you have.

There are spam posters. You know what that means. We have reached the classic point of boards. The people who are doing stuff to irritate others. You know, like me. These people aren't me though. They are people who are purposely causing others some grief. I'm just throwing the grief of other onto their desks.

    The Problem?

At this time a month ago, there was a user. His name was Sakej99. One day he decided to post some spam. This spam wasn't in a can. It was spam that festered with hate and rhetoric of the stereotypically internet kind. The organization supposedly behind this spam? The Diverse Unified Alliance.

After looking through their members, there wasn't a Sakej99 listed. Contacting Dominar Diablo, I inquired about this. Minutes of trying to get him to talk without blocking minute ended up revealing that Sakej99 had simply left.

Useless. This was all useless stuff that we didn't need. But one fateful day on November 24th, this unappealing type of post known as spam happened again! Can you guess the person that did this? Let me give you a hint. It's Sakej99.

A new line of hateful attacks at both Sakej99 and the organization he posted for began. The organization? Solar Secure. The child of Solar Empire. Another useless post with 44 ignorant and disgusting replies emerged.

Want to know the funny thing? Both leaders of Solar Empire and the Diverse Unified Alliance posted something to deny their involvement in this spam. That. Should. Go. Without. Saying.

Both of them publicly apologized or stated they had no involvement. Great.

Solar Secure had a different response though.

Agreement that the community wash harsh on one post. Agreed. Agreement that the community was oversensitive about a spammer that just posted a quick, non-contributing post. Disagreed. This was the community reacting negatively to a post that didn't need to exist. You know, the desired effect. This reaction is better than an upvote haven. The community wants bad posts to be given honor? No!

    Conclusion To This?

Idiotic. A word to describe the reaction. Idiotically, members started arguing with each other in this post. Idiotically, it spiraled into a negative feedback loop.

Spurs of hate spread as one posts something that isn't needed. Personal opinion applies. Community opinion triumphs over personal opinion. Sakej99, a legate of Solar Secure, caused problems that negatively effected the organization. I'll leave the questioning of Sakej99 alone. Spam. Overreaction. Both points that need to be mentioned.

A non-useful post that contributed nothing. Shouldn't have happened.

The community festering hate and harmful rhetoric into that post. Shouldn't have happened.

Want to know something? This community can be toxic. It can birth things like DUExplorers, fan lore, contests. It can birth the opposite as well.

One step away from a OutlandishRep news segment. You know what the problem is? Stop contributing to making it worse. Both sides.

A day after, Sakej99 sent a present. A wonderful Thanksgiving Present.

I accept your invitation to join Solar Secure. You probably don't want me at this point but I'll still join.

I'll see all of you in the comments. OutlandishRep brings you an Outlandish day.

There is a couple of things i want to point out. 1) As MrStarWars stated, the solar empire is not in any way responsible for the solar secure. No, the solar secure is not "the child of the solar empire" the only connection is that we have similar names. 2) Why would you ask people to "Stop contributing to making it worse. Both sides"  after having posted a large essay on the subject. May I ask how is that not contributing. 3) Finally, I'm slightly sorry to bring this up but how does spamming peoples to try and get new members equate to being "festered with hate and rhetoric of the stereotypically internet kind. ". I do not in any way justify or condone what he did but that might be a slight exaggeration.

Btw, can i call you something other than 'outlandish'? It again seems a bit out of proportion a title to what you actually do.

  8. Well well... Wasn't it problematic that Trump had talked badshit crazy about women? It sure sounds like you think it's alright. He had the same excuse as you do: it was guy talk, friends. Not meant to be heard by others. Well it did.

As a leader you have a responsibility to act responsibly always.

Of course it was problematic that trump was sexist towards women. However, being racist and sexist towards women is not the same as showing a little emotion. I said it was talk between friends due to your point about how due to the informality of the debate, we won't be able to run anything. This does not mean though that any of us our like trump. We may have talked in an informal manner but nothing we die justifies us being compared to trump.

For the record, I'm british. I follow the American debate but support neither of the candidate campaigns.

  9. I'm not blowing anything out of poportion. I simply shared what i thought was necessary to share. I know so much more than what I have published, things that doesn't make sense to publish, because they are natural conflicts at this stage.

But now let me just warn you then. If the leaders of CSYN can't act professionally in a small matter as this, then they can't act professionally come launch.

How can't you see that it is important to know. If people think their leaders have it under control and they don't they need to know.

Come launch I won't be saying: I told you so, but you'll know I'll be thinking it

No one will be remembering you let alone caring what you think

  10. Actually, it's all of you who blew it out of poportion. You could have ended it by saying:

I see what you mean. Hey Astrophil and Neopolitan, you should stop being so personally involved in the CSYN matters, it makes you do wrong decisions!

    And They would answer:

We see what you mean, alright we'lll try to be more professional from now on!

    There.

People who are friends dont act in the same way to each other as they do to strangers and that's ok. Just because you are less formal around friends does not mean they can't do something right when the game starts. There is a reason you are no longer allowed in the cinderfall syndicate and it is you a quite the drama queen and you can't understand how a private conversation between friends doesn't mean that the people involved cannot sensibly run a syndicate or how a conversation about the syndicate does not equate to the end of the world.

The reason why *it is us that overeacted* is wrong is because there is no reason for us to have to admit to doing anything wrong. We haven't.

As for neo and asto, why shouldn't they spend hours upon hours of their time into the syndicate to try and make it work. If they do, who are we to then say "stop being so involved". Don't nickpick, show an incentive to trying to make a way it could work

The problem is outlandish, you are a outsider to what is happening and you are too preoccupied with trying to find a story to bother to realise what you are doing. Rather than *revealing the truth* your just selfishly trying to install paranoia and fear over CSYN and you are just trying to make urself seem more important.

Here's a parting tip for you: dont try to undermine what people have built for selfish and petty reasons, instead, try to help make a better society, a better community for dual universe. Instead of trying to spread fear and paranoia over small and insignificant matters, try and find something that you can believe in, that matters. I truly hope u can find it

  11. That's the risk one must take. There'll always be things that are ruined. Some lose their jobs, others lose family or friends, and others lose something else. Such is the way of life....

I don't see how you can deny, that the things I published weren't necessary to publish. People deserve the right to know...

Actually they don't. Sure if they are in the CYNS they deserve the right to know from there representatives. Do others need to know that the CYNS discussed what it is? No. Why? Because it is naturel to need to clarify a couple of points 2 years before something is relased. You do realise that saying your work ruins things like ruining family or friends doesn't make people believe ur work is important. It just shows how much of an arsehole you are going aroind finding mundane things and blowing them out of proportion.

  12. Hey outlandish I am a member of the senate and the representative for the solar empire there and well, after having seen ur article I was more than a little amused. We have two years till game starts and you are worried about how we have beeen debating over what CSYN is. I'm touched, really I am. It's nice to know someone cares enough and is needy enough to attempt to make a fuss about this. I look forward to laughing at your next article.
