  1. Another org rug pulled by a legate, another group of players not resubbing.

    This game will die with the amount of game mechanics designed to make you burn out or quit.


    Imagine not having a protection system against legates just taking everything.

    Good riddance DU. GLAD WE GOT PETS THOUGH SUCH A GREAT UPDATE.

    I came to the table in good faith and offered input, suggestions, and value for the game and community.  Telling us how to jump through hoops with enough flame but not too much when we're not heaping praise upon you is a MAJOR RED FLAG. Every step along the way since launch that has been "mishandled" has been called out yet we get short notice for a single planet being released?  NQ has shaved the doubts balanced on Occam's Razer so thin that we're left with two equally horrible possible explanations; malfeasance or catastrophic incompetence.  Each patch has just enough "good enough" to temporarily pull attention away from consistent, repeated abuse of your community.  

     

    There seems to be tons of smoke billowing around every patch.  It couldn't possibly be someone's pants ablaze?  Nah, nothing to see here...

    I never made it onto the test server myself.  But this is a new issue, it's only been happening for a week.  And NQ knows about it.

     

    The servers are down for an update tomorrow.  So hopefully that will include a fix.

    Yes...... they even acknowledged it in the 0.26.1 pts patch notes

    3) "Beta" wave (revelations of true state of affairs)

    • False, misleading adverts
    • Shitty launch with previous feedback ingored
    • Lack of mechanics/content
    • Carebear paradise with overdone SZ
    • M15 cringy NQ reaction
    • Endless, industrial scale exploits, ruining economy
    • 0.23 
    • Schematics scandal
    • Naunet left and it left sour taste over NQ happenings
    • Basicly no progress for half of year
    • Bad comms achieve peak
    • JC cowardly flight and overall decline of morale
    • SB temptations

    4) Derelict stubborn survivors and brave new noobs (any hope?)

    • Much more punishment oriented community managment.
    • In process...

     

     

    Careful they might ban you for sharing your opinion. Anything not directly fluffing NQ is "Unconstructive"

    I am worried that these issues are not going to be addressed due to the lack of crash reporter working.  My computer is using 20% CPU, 50% ram, and 25% GPU- room left on hard drive for cache- so shouldn't be a problem with specs. Likewise these issues presents themselves on GeForce now too.  On top of that, the "SAO - Sword Art Online" bug is still a thing, where you get stuck in surrogate and can't respawn/logout- or get stuck unable to logout or close DU after using VR. Detection Zones crashing the client if used in the vicinity of another dynamic core. 


    TL;DR Dear NQ: Make it easy for us to get you log files to fix these problems ASAP- it makes playing the game a chore at best, headache at worst (if your flying and it happens, fun times for all!)  This should be a critical priority, and I worry this is flying under the radar due to lack of ability to report correctly.

     

    Its all part of their "Cost savings" Less players = smaller server bill

    If you are trying to make money hauling.... Why would you warp? That's a loss to profits. I'm assuming mission value will be auto generated with random missions to add high risk high reward hauling populating PVP space. The further out you go i assume the generated missions would increase in value/risk

    unless they can prove it wasn't intentional then they also moved a ship into pvp space from safe space followed it no less and proceeded to blow it up. if they simply let it go and did nothing that is one thing but they intentionally chased it. or are you oblivious to this fact?? 

     

    FACTS: (both sides)

    both parties are guilty of transgressions against each other. 

    Intentionally moved / followed ships from safe space into pvp space

    both parties committed the same act against each other aka both ships were blown up.

     

    OP should've just left the ship there and reported it. but they had to go move it into pvp zone and blow it up.

    if they recorded the incident why leave the part out of the video about how it got into pvp zone?? they could atleast show it moving on its own when they got to it. then simply cut parts of the video out, but no they just show the part of it being blown up.

     

    also OP has some holes in hist story. if it was on a claimed tile by him how did it get manouver tooled ???? shouldnt be possible unless the RDMS was sent on the hex to be able to manouver constructs. tried thinking about that one ?

    all i did was maneuver tool ships into the air and catch it with another ship that is physics enabled. nothing more if you try it you will see its that easy. in 0.23 NQ changed the way docking worked so that if you stand on a dynamic construct it will enable physics on anything maneuvered... that was an intended change and one announced in the patch notes outside the game. 

     

    Can confirm this works.
