Honestly radios would be really interesting to see in DU, however I fear that services such as discord will detract from their overall use as a potential service, especially if it’s possible to ‘intercept’ communications ingame. The only widespread use I could see for it would be a ship hailing another ship that has a crew not sharing membership in the same server either before/during/after an engagement, or to ascertain each other’s intentions, however I could be very wrong (I hope I am). Either way, I do find the idea to be interesting too, and would be curious to see an implementation, though how likely that is, I don’t know. It might not be worth reinventing the wheel for a service which could be left almost completely unused by the community at large for NQ. We will have to see...
