as this game is going to be based around these massive groups and is going to develop and grow through the players. i wonder about War. both on the ground and in the sky, and even beyond that! so I'm wondering the set of weapons we will get. but I'll tell you what i DON'T want, i dont want Space Engineers, where the weapons are just larger versions of the same thing and the only way to get varitey was through MODS. I'm wondering what the Assault rifles will look like. Pistols, SMGs, shotguns, snipers, RPGs, LMGs, Gatling guns. i understand why none of this has been shown in the current version of the game but still it's something i REALLY look forward to. i really dont want just 3 variants of the same thing, and larger and smaller variants of also the same thing. i hope they do have a portion of development where they focus strictly on combat and weapons. it's gonna be something that will happen in this game, and i don't think ANYONE wants a clunky combat system on the ground or in the air.
  3. see this is what im afraid of! i down wanna leave (and by leave i mean disconnect) my base that ive built to come back and find that its been raided! greifing is a thing. its not warfare or piracy, piracy is spending time in the game and then building up a ship yourself to steal others stuff, greifing is players getting quick resoursces to do small amounts of damage to important bits of things, and stealing things then just killing themselves in a random location to delete the items! piracy and greifing are 2 VERY different things.
  4. the wheel. probably one of the most important inventions ever created. it's used in more things than i would care to count. but i know that one of those things that the wheel is used in. is Cars. vehicles. ground based transport. and so far all the footage I've seen only has images of air based. and I'm not even taking into account the under water tier. I'm hyped for Dual Universe to become what it aims to as much as the next guy. but i would be really disappointed if wheels were left out of the scene. this is a universe. why not make it diverse? i think its a basic element that should be implemented early in development rather than late game.
  5. So I read the Kickstarter and I adored everything. Up until I read "monthly fee" and that really annoys me. As a kid with parents who are on a tight budget, I don't wanna be left out on such a project. A monthly fee will detour SO many players. But what I reccomend is setting a base purchase price like any other game. And then use micro-transactions to also help fund it. And the only thing these micro transactions will have are cosmetics, like gun skins, avatar suits, and other things. It's also important to allow players to be able to progress and gain these things themselves. Like through an NPC market people can purchase cosmetics, they would be EXTREAMLY expensive though. But I thing it would be a smarter choice to put a normal 15-30$ price tag on it then use micro transactions for cosmetics that can be applied to things. This would really help! Look at other games that use it look at Team Fortress 2! It makes millions of dollars in key sales ALONE. And the game is completely F2P

  7. My question stems for the long term and short. And thats the fact that in the thousands of players that are going to join. [Moderated]Unpleasant behaviors[/Moderated] will emerge. This is relevant in ANY sandbox game. I know you can assign permissions but what about things like ramming? Using the initial resources your given and wasting them on a ram would be detrimental to the resource economy! Speaking of it. What happens when the resource on the planets that we are given runs out? Will resource generate randomly? And what happens after the server has been up for so long? It'll look like the surface of the moon! And how would updates effect gameplay? New things and mechanics getting changed and added. And what about reloading into the game after being gone? How would you load all the changes to the voxels? Please awenser my questions. Thank you
