I would like Jump Probes (the ones we send into space to find new stars) to be able to be carried in cargo and activated manually.
I know it's a short post, but I'm positive someone understands how this can be used.
that sounds cool have one at home u travel the distance and drop the probe off or you carry all the materials needed and then build it there and build a stargate and connect them

I was just thinking of this scenario.
A faction has just made a warp bridge connecting to another system. This system happens to be very rich in some rare ore which gives them a major economic advantage over there enemy's. One of these enemy's Manages to destroy there warp bridge.
What happens to the players on the other side? They separated from the rest of the Known universe in till one side is able to setup a new warp bridge and from what I understand that could take a long time.
I just wont yo hear your options on this. how do you think this would play out?
they make a new portal after they gather the resources off a planet or could survive and build a empire

so ive been looking around and the devs have apparently said that you will be able to track ships and identify them with a transponder of some sorts but its not required so what if a harmless vessel comes with out the transponder and it gets destroyed so how will they be defined or id without and transponder or id signature any ideas

the devs have already said there would be no super weapons because it would break the game

for example a big org is on a planet they put out so much fossil fuels that the planet has a permanent smog and all organisms die and the planet has violent storms and all sorts of bad consequences for the orgs dueing

Space is full of live. Humans are not only intelligent species in galaxy. So there can be some AI-civiliztions, that have their own controlled planets, resources and fleet. They also can have some kind of culture, and different level of technical progress. They can be friendly or agressive. So their ships can attack you immediately, or they can help you. Players can trade, make alliance, or war with them. There can be some scale of relation with civilization. So if you will help them, you relation will become better. If you will try to harm them they become agressive with you.
There also can be some extremely powerful and agressive space empire. And when someone will discover them, this civ will become real threat to players. So they will invade into players territory. And to stop them, all players and organizations should come together to fight with common thread.
Thoughts?
that sounds cool but the question is how much power do they have and will this will effect the game balance becuse what if another powerful org alliances with this ai faction they would rule the Galaxy aand no one could stop them also can you buy tech from them

If your'e organization is a peaceful, in that you would only use military force for defense reasons. So you wrote that the SZM stops working immediatly when it got shut down. So if another Org inflitrates such a City the SZM could be shut down by just one person, means that an army May fail but one man can succed and prepare an attack?
i think it would be nice but as the devs have said there will be shilding for orgs and to find ark ships so they can have safe zones there but i think this would be a nice idea if they could incorporate this this would be a good way to defend and go on the offensive

i know the devs said that weather was a possible but the challenge would be to make it visible to all players and in space also i want to know are they going to add the sun to have solar flairs to add the northern lights just like in the poles of our planet by charging up our ionosphere but the ships would they take damage from the solar flairs if so how can we counter it and what can we do

I assume you mean market-bought or Blueprint Copy-built ships.
I like this idea, in general too. You could go and sell scrap on the market, where those with extremely high recycling skill could get a majority of the raw materials back.

You basically find a planet, rather a small one I suppose, and defend it, you concentrate in your planet only, it's a good point of view. And what's the name of the planet? You're aware you should find and conquer the planet at first when you'll begin to play?
