Ceolwulf got a reaction from jintzy in DevBlog: Arkship Security, or where does PvP start?
I understand that people can build in the ask ship's safety zone and that the ark ship will protect those structures from being damaged by anyone unless the builder/owner grants them the right to do so. In that case, what's to stop me building a big wall or dome around the ark ship (if I've got sufficient resources) and charging exorbitant fees or requiring nasty contacts to be signed to go through the gate?
Also, if you build your own ark ship like safety area how would anyone damage something in that area? Isn't the whole point that is an area of invulnerability? How then could you ever lose it as long as you can keep the generators running?

I really love the concept, it seems so sophisticated and well put together.
    Still I have some questions:

     - First of all, will I be able to let my programs store data gathered on "data cards" or something like this? In my opinion it was awesome if you could have a scanner on your ship which you can program to make a star map or gather blueprints of other ships (Of course you'd need a DPU to gather data and to store it in a certain way, and one to interpret it and maybe show it on a GUI)

     - The second question I have is about the physics: As they mostly involve both mass of the spaceships and mass of the planets (I'd guess the planets have different sizes and gravitational constants/masses) it'd be very nice to have a way of measuring it (except manually by measuring how long it takes to fall to the ground)
