I like this idea very much, I think it will add very much to the game. I am not sure what I think about the Food and water thing, I do disagree, but I do also agree With it. Maybe some one should make a poll about it.

This sounds like a very good idea. It can help the smaller groups having protection while building their ships. Will it cost money to build ships in your shipyard?

I agree with you. I think we should have many weapons because I thing ground fighting will be an important part of the game. melee weapons sounds interesting and fun so I would like to have melee weapons in the game.
