Mostly agreed with everything except this. One could argue that the UI is an augmented reality display projected on the inside of your helmet.

i can also confirm the ui is ugly .and is not projected inside a helmet that would be worse than what it is now if they did that .

the UI needs redoing . take examples from Demencia hud . why a player has to make a hud if the hud is nice . because the hud is not nice .

if i made a game id make the hud nice .

    day 1 . not year 3 lol

The devs should take note that the 2 most popular forum topics in the last couple weeks or so are either new players asking to refund/unsub, and old players saying there needs to be a wipe before release(after all core game features are implemented).

we saw huge bases   being placed on Pvp planets with no actual pvp players  ,no wonder they want wieghtless bp wipe  they cant defend nothing

I would expect talent training stops once your unsub. with the account basically getting frozen. What's more interesting for me would be how will RDMS right set by unsubbed accounts with access for subbed accounts be handled. I would expect access to remain in place but who knows.

good luck with Rdms if that happens a restart happens and no one can access anything

Spreezy just did an interview with entropy. YouTube video will be up tomorrow he said. Some notes to incoming pvp changes..

    - Radar lock range won't be tied to cores. A L radar will lock all cores equal distance as base.

    - Cross section will take into account hit chance. To what degree we do not know.

    - Choices on what elements you put on will matter. Entropy said "L weapons wont go on xs cores anymore, but to what degree we dont know, as in If you can use them still on a S or M core, but definitely not on XS core.

I know I sound like a cracked record sometimes but NQ keeps pushing the needle back into the groove in this regard.

IMO the biggest issue right now is that NQ is not actually looking at the game and how what they want to change will affect anything outside the change itself. It happens all the time with pretty much anything they do. And the pattern you describe here is getting more and more prevalent while the underlying root causes are left untouched as far as we know. The mountain of technical debt just keeps growing bigger and bigger.

Now, it is possible NQ did what they did to get more data on how separating these locations will impact performance. But since there is nothing in the release notes or in what NQ has said on this there is no reason to assume this is the case.

It just feels like NQ has been spending a lot of time on something that really changed nothing instead of addressing core issues that will benefit the game going forward. For new players the first experience remains .. lag.. the pads on the districts are still littered with massive, pointless constructs. bbb.png

Players are now deliberately placing massive constructs with no function or purpose, knowing this is not intended and as such breaking TOS .. So NQ.. please be consistent here ..

saw this players now boxing in ships they need a admin to brake the cores and flick the constructs into space . . . at least thats what i would do under TOS OF Griefing on the game  and count yourself lucky you didnt get ban  and also other players can benefit from your goods you decided to grief with when they find your construct floating around in space

It's bad enough that we can get lagged into a crash. It's bad enough that if I accidentally right click while in a landing that my keyboard inputs get ignored when that little interact menu pops up, but it's absolutely abusive to have to hold down a mouse button forever while I am stuck repairing the damage afterwards.  At least with space braking I can put my phone on my ctrl key (toggle plz, thanks) but with repair I am stuck in a long period of holding down a mouse button, mindlessly, until the magic stick heals the ship.

Really, make it like mining and have the middle mouse button lock the repair tool to "on".

you allowed to use VoiceAttack  and macro to hold button down

  7. i think banning players over delvelopment problems and issues should be dealt with by a roll back of the server not banning players .

what ever grief you see it as . go to war with them . you have a base .

unless they directly interfered with the game by using a external program no players should be banned

Like Sony  says to its developers . the problems lie within your game code ! FIix your code  not the players . you build the world around the players not the other away around .. . what does raise a eyebrow even more than

many players had stuff stolen from RDMS . . . someone doing something  stupid  ----------------------------------it was only a matter of time
