  1. I really love the concept, it seems so sophisticated and well put together.

    Still I have some questions:

     - First of all, will I be able to let my programs store data gathered on "data cards" or something like this? In my opinion it was awesome if you could have a scanner on your ship which you can program to make a star map or gather blueprints of other ships (Of course you'd need a DPU to gather data and to store it in a certain way, and one to interpret it and maybe show it on a GUI)

     - The second question I have is about the physics: As they mostly involve both mass of the spaceships and mass of the planets (I'd guess the planets have different sizes and gravitational constants/masses) it'd be very nice to have a way of measuring it (except manually by measuring how long it takes to fall to the ground)

  2. How about a space station (just like in Galaxy on Fire)?

I'm thinking of player created stations where you go off mining, have some productions and/or do trading (something like neutral stations where the bearer(s) get(s) some small amount of the money involved in the trade).

The problem there would of course again be what to do when the bearer(s) is/are offline.

  3. How about making a ingame customization of the textures where you don't have to many possibilities, but still get unique textures? I would think of something like overlaying specific patterns (created by you) together with colours you could choose to for example carve something into the stones or metals in the game. There could not be to much abuse but you would still have customization and diversity.
