Hello everyone.

Hi there people, Neo_prime here.

 

I discovered this game watching TheXPGamers YT channel today.

 

Just got frustrated with No Man´s Sky being single player (kinda feel bad for those who pre-ordered it)

 

I´m currently playing Star Citizen, but what made me interested in Dual Universe is that i like Space Engineers, but the current state of the game is so buggy i just gave up on it.

 

And Dual Universe seems to cater to both my creative and my destructive side.  

 

Anyway, hope to be building and destroying stuff with you guys when the game launches.

First thing's first, welcome aboard :D

 

Coming from Star Citizen, I have to tell you that Dual is not an FPS space sim. It's tab targeting for the most part. Which makes more sense than dogfighting Wayfarers, right? :P

I'm a wait and see kind of guy, I think it's counter productive to make too many assumptions about the battle mechanics.  I think most people are interested in the game because of building and exploration anyway.

They actually explained that they adapt the EVE-system but in a more "chess-like" fashion of pre-planning your attack depending on how your ship is made. Ground combat remains to be seen.
