Unable to pick up Dispenser

So as title says, how do you pick up a dispenser or is mine bugged.   I have a dispenser.  I'm in the build mode.  Deploy Element tool is selected.  I hold Alt (it glows yellow) and click and get the warning message  "Invalvid Container"   I am linked to a Basic Container Lg and it is my active linked container.  I have tried logging in and out.  restarting computer.  moving around.  Going in and out of build.  Different size containers on different dynamic and static cores.  any Ideas?

Have you tried first empty the dispenser ? maybe it has stuff inside . Last time i used one mine had a last batch of items inside it.

This is an issue for me as well. Was testing some scripting (also weird that we can't link a programming board to a dispenser, but w/e). Removed everything from the dispenser, all links, all contents. Invalid container when you try to remove the element.

Days later, I still have the same problem., even tried to relink it to a container to see if i can pick it up, nope.    So Im about to open a ticket to see if the GM can just delete the thing..

Anyone seeing this type of error should open a ticket if basic troubleshooting doesn't clear the error.
