Sure, but when the server is down that won't help ;-). I found it handy to have an "off-line" API description source. But if the in-game is the only one, then that's good to know as well. If you are looking for a third party reference then perhaps try https://du-lua.dev by @jericho1060 it includes an online lua editor/emulator, detailed information on various in-game elements/recipes, and a mockup of the codex. I personally can not attest to the accuracy of the the information contained within but it is actively maintained and many players have found it extremely helpful.
