Just wanted to put the idea out there to expand the organic components in the game. All we have for organics at this time is wood ... and wood. Want to do some work with other mats that could be cool to work with (i.e. Bone, Cartilage, Muscle Fiber, and Chitin for voxels and other liquids for biofuels) for bioship design. This could be geared on a planetary scale with "Knowhere"-like plant(s). Would open up a large creative angle and awesome visuals both on the surface and from space. Could also be expanded into "bio-elements" as in different skins for normal elements that require different materials to produce.

Hmmmm, interesting. Was not any of my own wishes. But when starting to think about biological ships, what about these specs:

- honeycomb and element damage up to a certain percentage from PVP can slowly heal itself
- if the damage is above a certain percentage (maybe 85%), the ship dies and cannot be repaired anymore
- it generates its energy not from any fuel but by being placed for some time on top of soil or in a forest from where it gets its nutrients (no way for players to produce this bio fuel)

Maybe breakdown of certain liquids found on bio-planets or organics like trees.

Must land in / near water source periodically.

Hunt other bio-ships for food or "wild" space bound organics (i.e. space cows lol)

bio-core that can be used only for bio-voxels or attached to normal core for "hybrid" bio-tech route.

Less likely to crash due to natural buoyancy / lightweight material

Reflective exterior that is much more resistant to lasers but is more susceptible to ballistics (to discourage current trend of laser-r-life)

Acidic / corrosive weapons and or harpoon-like missals that can draw other ships closer for more physical attacks
