Will there be a skill point reset before the game starts?  i.e. will we all go back to 0 sp?

We need to know if you are going to wipe the current planets or just introduce new ones.

What's going to happen to the safe zone?

Will there ever be air to ground combat?

How will territory wars happen? Our base hex is landlocked by players who don't play any more, so  how can we attack / claim their tiles?

Will you provide a way for us to move our hand and tool out of way? It obstructs where we are trying to build and makes the game an exercise in frustration.

What are your plans for the UI? It is currently... erm... sub optimal, especially the skills.

Are you going to improve the skill tree? It's currently very basic.

Will technology research ever be a thing?  Using bots to sell schematics does not bode well for a "player driven universe"   Look at Warzone 2100 for an ancient game with a simple, yet detailed skill tree.

This, exactly This is what should have been installed for schematics. npc selling would have been a good second supplier then at elevated rates but the effort in research should have been in place and lucrative, Even if the first investment cost to research a schematic would be the same (time/costs) the production of extra versions of it should be lucrative enough to make a business.

For the love of everything sacred can we please make it easier to give people who buy our ships and blueprints the ability to add, remove, replace elements without giving the whole IP away?

Every time a new element (shields, DSATs etc.) or a change to elements (weapons stats) is announced, ship/blueprint sales die completely because all current builds are now obsolete, and ship sellers then have to spend weeks doing mods to past customers ships for them, and replacing all the BPs in our dispensers (which also costs money). If we could just sell BPs with an 'add elements' to go alongside 'edit element', or even (not as good but workable) make it so 'build' rights permission doesn't automatically deliver the 'create blue print' permission as well, releases like 0.26 wouldn't cripple the ship building industry for weeks/months every time. Players would be able to drop in the new elements, or swap out the superseded elements themselves.image.thumb.png.7c03846c7319442ad437dd73176a2153.png

The only way to move any product at all right now is to leave placeholders for new elements (pic) and make them completely DRM free, which means infinite copying of the build, and handing your business to pirates.
