  1. 1. Do you think that seats should not show the GUI in third person, just like the cockpit currently does?

    • yes; more cockpits, windows and bridges please!
    • no; I would rather be buried in voxels and elements.
    • hard yes; remove third person when driving entirely!
    • hard no; remove first person when driving entirely! death to all windows!
    • Unsure
  2. 2. Do you think that forcing ships to use bridges/cockpits would improve PvP?

    • Yes, It would force ships to be more creative with their designs and not just be a steel box with engines
    • No, Forcing ships to use bridges would make fights too short
    • Yes, but only if NQ reduce the damage ships deal first
      0
    • No, NQ should increase the damage ships deal instead
    • Yes, but only when you are able to target specific parts of a ship
      0
    • No idea
  3. 3. Do you think that using remote controllers + gunner seats should be allowed?

    • Yes, as it is the only way to do proper solo PvP atm
    • No, solo gunning should be reserved for xs fighters only
    • Hard yes, command seats should be able to use guns too
      0
    • Yes for now, but remove it when xs ships are good again
      0
    • idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I voted "no idea" on the 2nd question because of the lack of options.

My actual vote is "NO, Because it makes no F sense to expose humans to enemy fire, it's not realist now and will not be realist in the future."

If you look at navy modern ships, the bridge does not have "combat functions", the combat situation room is a room in the middle of the ship, well protected from enemy fire.

That room will command countermeasures and weapons remotely.

The actual bridge with windows is used for most non combat situations.

I’m all for third person camera elements placed on the outside of the ship that relay information inside.

And As the elements are damaged, you lose 3rd person visibility externally.

for example guns /radars could still come with cameras which could be used in lieu of free 3rd person camera. You could choose any such camera equipped system to be your external vantage point from a list of ship elements.

Free 3rd person camera view should be for cinematic use only, recording fights and making trailers etc, it should lose all the cockpit/LUA access.

Lol. I get the realism. I truly do. And i have played games like that in the past and enjoyed them.

But why should this game further reduce the target audience?

How much of a niche game should this be?

I dont think any of it matters much either way when you're likely sitting stationary and asking the other guy if he will hold still so you can finally test your guns.

(Sorry, couldn't resist).
