Unique Core Shapes: What you make?

Okay, so I've heard the idea that cores could have unique shapes but the same volume in a future update, but what are some ideas you guys would use them for?  I can definately see the appeal of making long roads, flat foundations, and tall towers.  I could totally see some wacky ideas for dynamic constructs:  A big flat spaceship with as many engines as possible for example, or just a long stick with adjustors to spin around really fast for no particular reason.  

 

I could see why people wouldn't want it, slamming into space towers while exiting Alioth can be annoying, but hey, adapt to survive.  Roads I think would be the best, unless somebody really wants to dedicate hours to flattening out the surface of a planet.

Lots of us have talked about this.    It would be so wonderful if we could adjust the height and width of the build area keeping the same internal volume .
