I would however recommend not falling into the EVE trap of having them last forever and be utterly impenetrable. We have visible ships - Then - Add cloaking Why? Because EVERYTHING should have a counter to it. Drive safe? Don't go A->B, go A -> jalosdhjfpasjf pajhfoajf -> and then B, be sure to have extra fuel.
