RDMS for schematics?

Mornington

Recommended Posts

Just read patch notes for current patch.

There is no mention of how schematics interact with RDMS.

There is no clarification of whether a schematic is an item that can also be stored in inventory or containers, or is purely an entity that exists in markets and industry.

Please clarify these as a matter of urgency.

If you are asking orgs to pay billions for something, we should all have written clarification of how these things are supposed to work, so that we can feed back if, and inevitably when, they behave in a way that was not intended.

Industries now have an internal container (similar to the market container) for the schematics. You need to place the schematic into this container in order to use it.

I did not yet checked if schematics are automatically inserted into the industries when placing a corresponding blueprint. And I also wonder how it works with RDMS.

The only good news is that transfer units don't need schematics. That means they are no longer pointless now. However, it also means that factories need to be redesigned for optimization.
