A sandbox can find a balance between the interests of the prey and the interests of the pirate. In such a game you won't lose your 3 days of effort every single time, but very rarely. You will have opportunities and counterplay to avoid pirates.   There is no point in discussing whether piracy should exist in DU. You can prefer game with minimal PvP. But NQ is publicly going the other way. I think they are 100% right that's the better direction for what DU can be.   Lastly, I
