Collider
In our organization's Teamspeak we have often discussed possibilities to remove "clutter" on and near the District landing pads. Here a suggestion how this could work: When a dynamic core is "parked" near the district for too long (more than 24 hours) it should be "towed" to a virtual compound The player receives a "parking ticket" and needs to pay a fine depending on how often the player's constructs have already been towed. Contructs will NOT be sent to player inventory ... however the "parking ticket" can be traded in at a vending machine at the landing pad and the construct will be spawned immediately (so people can not use this mechanic to get an easy "no weight blueprint" of their ships) First time offenders ... reclaiming the towed vehicle is free. Warning is issued that it will cost from now on. Second time offender ... reclaiming the vehicle costs 50.000 h Repeated offenders ... reclaiming costs double every time a construct gets towed. Palis Airuta
Certainly needs to be addressed, D3 has had 4 large ships abandoned on deck for three weeks. Agreed that after 2 days in storage its a 5k per day (or whatever) fine, you pay the fine your ship gets TP'd to you (or reclaimed in your market container) Don't pay the fine for a month, your ships gone, you obviously don't need it. w1r3dh4ck3r
It's amazing to me that these MMO developers simply can't get this right, simple rules: Never underestimate the players, they will break, change, warp and find things, no your game secret hidden in a planet somewhere will not be hidden for long, if you allow players to leave shit everywhere that is what they will do! Please guys, we are kids we need limitations! I don't want to live in a trash heap and play with 2 FPS, please address the issue of litering markets. JayleBreak
Where I live, deer are not just a nuisance but a hazard, and to cull them there are (on occasion and in restricted areas) hunts arranged. What if DU had advertised events (well in advance) that permit "hunting" of constructs in a randomly selected district at a defined time (the chosen district is revealed 30 minutes in advance). Safe status at the market would be temporarily recinded and any destroyed cores could be immediately looted.
