"not enough CockpitFighter" error message

Greetings,

 

I disassembled my P16 Talon to try building my own atmospheric ship. Didn't work very well so I decided to reassemble the P16. The problem is that the game does not recognize that I have all the items. A single type of item is the issue: cockpit. No matter what I'm trying to reassemble, nothing works: speeder, racer, P16 Talon, my own attempt at a ship... always get the message that the cockpit is missing =\

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Buy or make a new cockpit and destroy the buggy one.

Considering both the hovercraft and the ship's cockpits are causing the issue, I don't think that would really solve the problem. I might end up with it happening over and over again.

According to patch notes today it sounds like there may be a way to reset these elements now?

At least that's what this sounded like to me:

• [Inventory] Added an inventory button that allows removing dynamic properties over selected items

• [Inventory] Added feedback on items that have "nonSpecialized" dynamics

Confirming. I was having this problem just now and searched to find this thread.

 

Right-clicking the seat in my inventory and removing dynamic properties allowed me to deploy my custom speeder blueprint.
