I need a proper manly drill for mining

This magical vacumcleaning tool we have, yes the thingie that goes Bzzzz bzzzz bzzz and u "mine" the ground.....its not gonna do it for me.

This is how real men mine....not with a handmaiden vacumcleaner.

 

But seriously, the mining process is to passive and not very well made. Its getting boring after 10 minutes. There is not enough fidelity. I know we are supposed to be far in the future and all that....but damn, this vacumcleaner is just not gonna cut it.....

@Bolliz You can click the mouse wheel, instead of holding the left mouse button, in order to use the mine tool (also works with with both scanning tools of course)

Automated mineral extraction would be the way to go as in No Man's Sky.

Automated mining will never happen; NQ have said so.

 

Get your talents up and you can dig to and mine out a t1 node on under 5 minutes.

 

If mining grinds your gears, you can always buy your way out of the business by purchasing what you need.
