Hello from the frozen north!

Hello everyone!

 

Names MyHero, and yes I can be your hero. I hail from the icy lands of the north, aka Alaska in the US of A. It's nice to meet you all.

 

A little about me. I've been playing MMO's for a long time, starting with EQ/UO/and Anarchy Online. My all time favorite game was Star Wars Galaxies. Why? Well, its Star Wars, and the crafting/economy in that game was something that i've yet to experience since then. Plus, Star Wars. Did I say that already? Mhm. Star Wars. 

 

I fancy myself a crafter. I try to also be one in every game I play, and I purposefully seek out games that allow you to craft. It humors me when I talk with people about truly deep crafting in games and they mention World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy. Don't get me wrong, yeah you can make stuff...but...in SWG you can truly MAKE stuff. When reading up on Dual Universe I felt like it was possible that THIS game may finally scratch that itch that i've dearly missed. From the sounds of it, not only could I have a simple shop to sell my wares....but my shop could be a roaming land vehicle, or even a giant space ship. How cool would that be?

 

Regardless of how things really are, the prospect of a truly player driven game excites me. So here I am. Ready to go beyond the games before. It's good to be here. *tilts hat*
