More specific plans? It all depends what DU allows and  Novean interactions. Here are my next five or ten year plan:

1. Build a small city with M. Rothbard ideas and ideals.
2. Create a financial system where venture capitalists, hedge funds and medium-sized institutional investors meet via stocks and options exchange.
3. Protect financial players from fraud/scams by proper regulation and laws supported by military establishments.

Fraud Prevention Organization of the galaxy? Another great idea I never would have thought of, somehow this game brings out the immersion no other game has ever given before (at least in my experience)

It is more than a game DarthSarcasm, a metaverse. Everything built by a human user. Not only buildings, stories as well. Dual Universe has a great potential to become a next big thing for the coming decade. We have no idea what happens when augmented reality implemented into a metaverse. We live in an exciting time.

Finally big boys enters the metaverse market: Facebook is planning to hire 10,000 people in the European Union to develop a so-called metaverse.

 

Facebook’s Zuckerberg recently said he hopes that users stop thinking of Facebook as a social media company and more of a metaverse company. Months before Zuckerberg’s announcement, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was among the first American tech executive to refer to his company’s offerings as part of an “enterprise metaverse.” Chinese conglomerate Tencent, whose holdings include everything from social media apps to stakes in Hollywood studios, has also accelerated its efforts. The shared ambitions of these giant corporations set the stage for a high-stakes race to craft the metaverse.

NQ, a possible candidate for hostile takeover or buyout by big boys?

Ehhhh maybe? If  anything it might help fuel Andurance Ventures investment into NQ/the metaverse technologies they've been building out. They share the same CEO now- easier to make a case for investment if you're the one investing largely. With "metaverse" becoming a new hot button buzzword again, and NQ being years into development of a metaverse platform that has been live for over a year? .... sorta gives them the leg up in the market and a position most companies don't have and an easier sell to the board.

Nicolas(Novaquark CEO, and Andurance co-founder) would be sorta foolish to let this investment die, and or to sell it off too early. As they say in crypto, hodl- too the moon. DU is one of the closest things to a metaverse we have right now. 

Selling out to facebook(and or other tech giants) would be nice, but they're more interested in directly competing... Unless NQ has real magic/patents on the underlying technology it's easier for Big Tech to spool up their own competitors outright and compete.... or if NQ can build a large enough customer base (for DU and possibly future enterprise solutions based on the tech stack) they may get acquired.

In the case of DualUniverse I'm not worried, a metaverse is currently rather wishful thinking and still decades away from implementation - especially since DualUniverse is building in more and more limitations for the universe that shouldn't even exist.

But it is very interesting that this post from more than 2 years ago was revived by you, because you can see very well from "what do we want to achieve and where do we currently stand".

With Zuckerberg, I am more concerned that he wants to manipulate and abuse all people in his fantasy world even more than before. That makes me afraid of what the real future will bring.
