Will ALPHA (not pre) servers be up 24/7?

pre-Alpha -> Let's see in how many ways we can break things

Alpha -> Let's see how what we broke got fixed and gets stable

Beta -> we should be good now, let's start playing and apply polish and more stability.

 

 

So I'd venture to say we're months away from actually playing the game

I think it's going to be a little more like this:

 

Pre-alpha -> Does it turn on? Do the server technology and voxel engine work?

Alpha -> Do the gameplay mechanics work? Are they fun? What is broken about them? (Iterating on more features as the Alphas go on)

Beta -> We have it all pretty much how we want it. All the gameplay mechanics are implemented and functional. What remaining bugs do we have?

 

So I don't think we will be actually playing the game in anything resembling a final form until beta in mid to late 2018. Just my view though

honestly im sick of the short tests  that happen in odd times  I don't even join often  because of this  at least their is a 96 hour test coming up   I hope beta will bring 24/7   all I like is the building system any way could care less about the pvp
