0something0
I can't add an image to my banner: I try to add a link from google drive(click on image>top right menu>open in new window>right-click>open in new window), the image shows up in the editor, but when I try to save, it says "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community.". Lord_Void
You should try using a different image hosting site like imgur or something. It's a bit fickle.
CommanderLouiz
My guess would be because the image needs to have a file extension of .jpg, or .PNG. What you've tried to do is share the link to the file, but shared the link to it's folder instead. Does that make sense? Probably not. Also when I click on it, it gives me a 403 error. Vyz Ejstu
" The above two points are correct, but for the sake of the future, you should remember a very important point. Images linked to your Google account will not be displayed on the web, unless you copy the image to your local drive or host it on a hosting website. Hence, the "403" error CommanderLouiz saw, because you have not set the permission settings within Google Drive to publicly accessible. I encourage you to follow Lord_Void's advice: use imgur.com. It is by far the most stable image hosting site I have come across: others tend to periodically go offline or shut down completely. Cheers.
