You can never fully (with absolute precision) know how things develop depending on your actions. The favor could be returned later by the same or an associated party is what I mean. The people will respawn and the stuff can be rebuilt. Just don't put on a VR helmet, you will get trapped in the game and then you wont be able to respawn.
