  1. It would be nice to have an Item to split links since Elements (Hub/Containers) can only have so many links In and so many links Out. I have been working on a compact early factory and have been running into this problem where I can not have all my pure metals in one large container that go to all other industry that require pure metals. If we had a Link splitter, all my metal works could have an input from the splitter and the splitter have one input from the container then i could have more industries connected to the one container to pull from. Alternatively if we could have more links per container/hub (albeit it is probably performance heavy so less desirable by the Devs) that would be nice. Or the Hub could act as either the input or output and we can link the containers from the industry allowing us to reuse some of the same containers. Any other thoughts or comments would be nice.
  2. Combined several ideas of different users into one system. I represent: Idea: Extension of the "link" binding system. It is now divided into 3 types: 1) Transport. There are 5 subspecies: a) Belt conveyor. To deliver resources between production buildings. b) Cargo lock (allows you to dock the ship to the conveyor system and unload resources into it, or vice versa, load). It happens square for a regular tape, it is round for pipes. Supplied with a magnet to hold the ship. c) Drone system. Transport drones deliver goods between buildings. Or between a ship and a building. e) Quantum teleports (extensions to buildings) that allow you to teleport goods between buildings. 2) Electrical. There are 3 subspecies: a) Ordinary wires. The cheapest option. But the wires are also different, there are copper, there are graphene. The difference is in bandwidth. b) Wireless power generator (extension to a building or facility), wireless power grid, but limited range. c) A quantum current generator (also an extension to a building or object), in contrast to subparagraph "b" there is no limitation on the range. 3) Internet. Likewise with point 2. Wired, wireless, and unlimited. * - Ie each type of connection will have its own tools and methods of combining.

On further reflection going to try and make sure new forum peps get this.
  4. Fuel tanks being exposed is generally a bad thing, and we generally tuck them away from the hazards that would damage them. To allow access there are fuel lines leading into the tanks from the exterior of vehicles. I propose an element that achieves this same function in Dual Universe. It could be linked to a tank (possibly several) to allow for one way fueling to the connected tanks. it wouldn't make the tanks capacities shared in use with other elements, but would allow for them to be internalized in the vehicle protecting them better from outside complications. The logic goes as follows; you can fly a plane with one engine, but not without fuel. Propulsion systems would be completely compromised if fuel tanks are taken out. Internalizing elements is possible (as seen in the tutorial videos) since voxels can be temporarily moved, but having to move them after every few flights seems very inconvenient. Then there is always internalizing most of the tank but having a "window" that exposes part of the tank, but that still has the vulnerabilities associated with an exposed fuel tank.
  5. I watched the tutorial for the interactive elements and I have some questions and suggestions for them: Why do you need relays for multiple links? Why can't buttons output more than one link? NOR block: Why can't buttons and other interactive elements get an "invert output/input" option? Logic blocks: It would be very helpful for complex logic set-ups to have one logic block, where you can set up the whole logic inside. Or is this possible with Lua? Counter block: Why not one box with an option (simple value) to set the counter? The current setting with several blocks looks very cumbersome... Is it possible to swap a block without breaking the links?
