This is pretty good stuff.  Reminds me of some old-school Heavy Metal from  way back.  Amazing how music can cross all of our artificial boundaries and connect us all.   I would feel just as at home in a club in Japan playing this music as any club I would hang out in over here.  But then I've always thought that Japan would be one of my favorite places to visit.  Looks like you guys know how to let go and have fun.

I would like to see a mission terminal element in the game. The idea that is kind of floating around in my head is a touch panel that would allow you to take public (open to anyone) and private (org. only or assigned directly to you by a 3rd party) missions of various categories. IE: Resource Gathering, Transportation, Construction, Bounty, and such things. This could be done with a template setup that might include things like, mission objective, payment, completion time, etc. To make it worth while for the person or org who assembled the terminal, they could receive a small "post fee" or "post tax" or something from the people generating missions on the terminal. Maybe have the terminal also have a maximum range, like only showing missions on that planet? Or perhaps have it be system wide or larger, but make the missions sort-able by estimated distance/travel? I'm thinking that terminals, regardless of who built them, should share the information for ease of use and gameplay.

Just imagining landing, then coming up to a terminal to collect payment for a bounty mission that I just ran for someone. I don't know, its after 2am for me and this idea just kinda popped into my head, lol. Apologies ahead of time if something like this is already mentioned.

I was simply trying to add some rock from my country and show something was new and not from 10 years ago. I was not trying to state what I was sharing was better, nor was I trying to say your taste in music not good. I am sorry you didn't enjoy it and think it's lame, but I did not post it to share with only you. I hope other people might find it nice. Also, music isn't just about sound, but also the words. So while I do like the sound from Back Horn, their lyrics are only ok I think. I could not watch the TMR video you posted as well because of blocking, but I do not understand how their genre is anything related to what I posted (As I have heard their music). I also do not understand how or why you think your opinion on music and what is "ACTUAL" art should make it so I could not share. I'm not trying to make a controversy, I just don't like that you imply I could/should post different music as it doesn't fall into what you think is Japanese Rock. Again, I just wanted to share, sorry you didn't enjoy it. Glad other people did.

We strictly believe in whipping our members if they say anything peace and love. We also offer no compensation packages, PTO, sick days, or anything like that. If they encounter any space hazards like twerkmotors, we promptly tell them to suck it up, and give us all their stuff.

So yeah, we like to think our members are treated pretty fairly.

Sup everybody, I'm LORDRadec and I've recently signed up and registered for the game so I will be waiting (im)patiently for the release, it seems. xD

I don't have much ideas of what Duel Universe is all about but I do have a few notches here, there and everywhere about it.

I hail from Scotland, Edinburgh (inb4 please gimme your voice) and I am very interested in a hell of a lot of RTS, 4X and MMO games.

Fractured Space, Dreadnought, Sins of a Solar Empire and C&C are my top favourites, but Stellaris has seriously got me hooked, right now, lol.

Tried out No Man's Sky; really wasn't impressed, so I came searching around and I came across here... looks like my answers can all be found here it seems!

My name on Steam is John Radec, but my actual name is Jordan.

I'm also a Cosplayer as I had my first ever comicon just back in April for the Heroes Convention where I am; got totally geared up as the lovely Civil Protection officers from Half LIfe 2... a friend of mine is making Combine Solder outfittings for us and it's aimed directly for next year, so we've got a lot of time to spare.

Used to do Games Worskhop; don't do that anymore though... too expensive, not worth it in the end but atleast some memories were good enough for it.

Maybe one person will recognize my name, especially if anybody plays Exidium Corps but I doubt that'll happen at all.

    ...
    ...

    ANYWAY

Hope I can get on the game soon, it looks bloody minted!

Maybe keep it simple, a contract system to hire mercenaries to hunt them down or a bounty system where whoever finds them first and kills them gets paid out?

    Profit.

On a more serious note, the only time I did any ship building to the extent that DU will have was in Shores of Hazeron. Used their offline designer to make the shell, then went in game and imported it, then slapped on the internals. We'll have something similar in DU with their virtual sim for building everything, so I imagine I'll just take the same steps.

Initially I thought it would be fall damage, but then I thought about being in alpha and how unstuck commands are usually suicide commands, lol. Hopeful for no invisible walls and falling through the planets, but I'm sure it will happen at least once. Once we are into live/retail though, definitely fall damage. Night time and cliffs/valleys = no bueno

Course, if we are armed.... I can't rule out that I wouldn't shoot the first person I see

EDIT: I love that no one thinks any of us will last long enough to starve or drown, lol!!
